But hey, I don't mind if they never come back to finish Incarna.
This patch wasn't even half-finished. We're missing 3 of 4 CQ varieties. So does that make Incarna first iteration 1/4 finished, at best?

it was borring - some even say they miss ship spinning - why? go spin your ship in space! or something.
I really like the laser and turrent changes - I really like the CQ, its not for much use yet - but they did not rpomise it would be. it has great potential and it does not take anything away from any one. whit a few shortcuts and you don't have to take one step in the hangar.
What short-cuts? If you have money to buy new computer to actually support the new CQ no problem please enjoy, however playerbase is not going to buy beast PC-gamer machines so they can actually use the CQ feature, this is absurd.

This is a problem with the new content. It lets you do things that you could already do before, just with a new "skin", effectively since the CQ is completely solo.
People who can't run the CQ without issues, they can turn it off, but then this patch ends up being of no use to them.

Incarna is EXACTLY what CCP said it was going to be. We've known this for months.
But for true stupidity, you need to think of Incarna as a finished product.
Incarna is a Baby Step.
Mark my words: The day will come when we have fire fights inside stations. Not within a year, probably over two years, but the day will come. And Incarna will be expanded several times before that day comes.
CCP is doing something not done before: Adding a whole new game layer to an EXISTING game. If they choose to do it in baby steps, that is WISE of them.
Game Depth FTW.
I sort of thought it would function 5 times more smoothly and quickly than when I tried it a month go and at least be able to have the guy quickly dart around the room and sorta jump and stretch and stuff.

I was able to UNDOCK from my couch... seated, staring zombie-like at the big screen... just reached over and clicked the UNDOCK... didn't even have to pull my arse out of the sofa....
Then I went to look for the ultra-modern bathroom... minor crisis... I guess that's what all those chamber pots scattered around the quarters are for...
And I'm still "monocle free".

For the record:
I'll agree that it would be nice if use of Incarna was optional.
Heck, I strongly approve of Incarna, but in its current form, I'd turn it off in a heartbeat and go back to the old station view.
This bears repeating: even though I'd turn Incarna off "IN ITS CURRENT FORM", I do strongly approve of Incarna. (for the simple reason that I expect its current form to be VASTLY expanded over the course of MANY tiny upgrades......)
Play nice while you butcher each other.
