Ok so I know compared to some of the issues others are having this probably seems kinda minor, but it's driving me insane.
After installing Incarna and patching it, I can't get Anti-Aliasing to work anymore. The drop down box in game only has "disabled" as an option, and even if I try to force it through the drivers for my GeForce, it doesn't work. AAAAHHHHH lol, I hate jaggy lines, please help! __________________________________________________

Where does it say that?
All I can see is:
Quote:
SSAO is disabled on all video cards except NVIDIA cards. ILR is disabled on Windows XP machines that use ATI GPUÆs. Depth effects on Macs with ATI cards are disabled.

...it specifically says it's disabled for everything but nVidia cards. As I mentioned above I have a GeForce... specifically it's a GeForce GT 240, which I know isn't super current anymore but it should be more than powerful enough to have AA on. (and yes my drivers are current, etc.) __________________________________________________

...mebbe :)
Yeah I'm running kubuntu 10.04, wine 1.3.21, and haven't had an issue with AA until Incarna... I hate how crappy it looks now w/o AA. __________________________________________________

Got the same problem. i have a GTX 275 before incarna aa worked fine. Now I can see the aa in the options menu but it doesn't change the jaggylines. maybe next update ccp will look at this?

Yeah, I hope they will. I'm trying to keep the AA topics close to the top so they aren't forgotten about. __________________________________________________

Ive got a ati 6950 oc 2 gig card and incarna runs my card slightly harder with nothing special details than crysis 2 on full graphics setting do??

Hmm on mij older rig the AA works fine. It is a single core pentium @3.4GHz with a AGP ATI Radeon HD 3650 512Mb. But on mij i7 920 with GTX275 AA in QC it doesn't seem to work. It seems to be working in space tho. But i'm not sure

I've noticed on mine it almost looks like the AA forced through the drivers is working (although I truly am not 100% on that), but as soon as I put any major light source behind my ship (i.e. a star) it goes to hell and looks like poo again.
If I spin the camera angle around and get the light source out of the background, it looks like it might have some rudimentary AA being applied. My guess is it has something to do with the lighting/shading using SM3 vs SM2. It's kinda weird like that... so for now I'm just not looking at the stars very often...
Hope this helps any devs that are kind enough to be looking into this. __________________________________________________

Please file a bug report if you're having problems.
We do not disable AA on any specific hardware, tho I'm a big fan of tinfoil hats n' all that. If you don't have the option to turn AA on it's because your drivers report that you don't support it.
Note that CQs use a different kind of AA so it won't work the same there as it does in space.
Cheers

what about ship/turrets/ preview? Also, the characters creation... They were fine before the CQ patch.
Now the in game AA setting only works in space... # CPU brand: Phenomx4 II 965 3.71Ghz # Motherboard: ASUS M4A78T-E # Memory: Mushkin Enhanced 4G DDR3 1333 # Video card: EVGA GTX 295 CO-OP # Operating system: Windows 7 Home 64-Bit
