Hi, first of all i hope this is the right board for this kind of question, since it's not directly a "market discussion", but somewhat related to the market.
Prior to the Incarna Patch my Broker's Fee in Caldari Navy Stations was at 0.2 % and since today it changed "back" to 0.21%, although there has been no change to my Caldari Navy Corporation Standing or my Caldari State Faction Standing.
I was wondering if anyone else noticed a change in his/her Broker's Fee since the patch today or if i just missed something in the Patch Notes related to either the broker's fee formula or the mechanic behind internal number rounding.
My calculated Broker's Fee is 0.20859.
Hope someone can clarify, Thanks :)

Displaying 0.2 vs. 0.21 when the "real" value is 0.20859 looks like some kind of display (different rounding/formatting applied to real number) error. -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |

You had the right idea. It seems that since the patch (or maybe before as well and i just didnt notice it) the Broker's fee is calculated with the "real" value rounded up to about the 4th decimal point but the client displays the rounded number (rounded up to the 2nd decimal point).
It would be nice to know though, if just the client displaying the numbers changed and it was calculated with the "real" value all along, or if this is in fact a change related to incarna.

If I'm not mistaken, CCP always uses the "real" number to compute the outcome, be that faction standing, security status, broker fees or <stuff>. They just always display a reasonable amount of decimal places.
Take for example the 0.01 ISK wallet issue. You can't gte rid off it, because in reality you have like 0.007 ISK in the wallet and therefore can't transfer 0.01 ISK (would make your wallet go negative, which isn't possible to do for a player). -- EVEWalletAware - an offline wallet manager |

I took a quick look at some examples just now, and all the numbers I saw are still consistent with the Market Order Broker Fee formula that has been in effect for more than a year. The displayed figures or displayed rounding might have changed (?), but it does not look like the underlying calculation has changed.
