Hey folks
I scanned down my first deadspace complex the other day and was rewarded with two Faction items that seemed to be quite valuable.
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Coreli_B-Type_Magnetic_Plating
and
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Coreli_B-Type_Adaptive_Nano_Plating
I decided to sell them and naturally looked on the market for the price history. I also checked the contracts for other examples of these items.
Both sources were particularly scarce on information.
I guess I was wondering if there is a better way of deciding on a price for these items and getting them to a potential buyer.
They are both listed in Dodixie for $25 Mil and $150 mil respectively right now.
Is the answer really just to put them up on the market and wait for someone to come looking? |

Non-energized single-damage-type passive resistance amplifiers are relatively low in value due to their limited use.
Despite the rarity of deadspace modules, take what you can get for the item.
The adaptive plating sees some use in tighter fits and in frig warfare, though I wouldn't hold out on selling it at market value. Incarna from 2009. 3 Years later and what we have doesn't look half as good as this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n41s1Iox18A |

Pretty much what the above poster said.
Non-Energized plating has no CPU requirements to fit, but it has less bonuses then the Energized Adaptive Plating version. Thus its use is highly situational, when there's no way to get your hull the extra 20 or so CPU needed to fit a more potent energized version. So demand is lower then what you might think they'd be. My item hangar is full of various dark blood nano platings that are identical to the T2 versions in each and every way. |

So regardless of the specific items I have is there a "better" way to sell rare or uncommon items?

The best way to sell it is to sell it in a place where people buy this kind of stuff. I would recommend making the trip to Jita to sell those. You may get less money but you will be able to get a buyer. |

I just throw them on the market in jita. Or hold onto them and pvp with them. Incarna from 2009. 3 Years later and what we have doesn't look half as good as this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n41s1Iox18A |

If you're having trouble selling it in your local hub, take it to Jita. It's by a healthy margin the largest trade hub and stuff generally moves faster there. |

also, if they aren't worth anything its worth fitting a righteous tank on a hauler and autopiloting back and forth between amarr and jita until you get a suicider to bite. Put a gun on him and ***** an the km, then die of laughter as you float away. Low-sec Best-sec |

No market or contract info on faction and storyline mods is a good thing. If there is nothing to compare it to an overpriced item doesn't look overpriced. You'll have to wait for your money but believe me some mislead fool will see the blue or green tag on the stuff and think it must be better than the other "regular" stuff. |
