I'm staring at a brown wall so my poor, overworked GeForce 9500M doesn't melt itself from rendering my character...sitting on a couch. Wait, what?
CCP, quit trying to find ways to milk more money out of EVE and make the game better. It's pretty simple. You stop sucking, we'll keep paying you. Do we really have to show you that without the veterans, there won't be much of a game? Who will mine the ores, refine the minerals, invent the blueprints, manufacture the ships, and transport the goods when you change the game to try and attract the gormless, ADD-riddled masses who just want to hop in a ship and shoot things?
You gave the playerbase a huge sandbox and they created a great experience. In the end, you make the tools, but the players make the game. We may make it unforgiving, we may make it hard to learn, we may make it difficult to relate to...but we can make it a hell for everyone, too. Don't make us do that.

Adding another post to the threadgendary.
Come on, CCP. Your time is running out. Misdirection isn't going to work. The big yellow question isn't just the elephant in the room. Even P.T. Barnum couldn't make it disappear. It's more like the blue whale in our fishtank.

You speak craziness... a whale will not fit in a fishtank
Of course it won't! That's exactly my point.
This is getting more threadgendary by the minute.

I vote that they are CCP PR alts. And will be doing this until it blows over. Then they will all vanish magically never to be heard from once its over.
Yep.. They are spreading into the other forum sections already.... This one tried the usual BS in my thread HERE
Seems he disappeared though........
And named like a chameleon! Designed to blend in...crap, I just put on the tinfoil hat, didn't I?

I totally want to make it on the next "busiest posters" list, guys. Since I can't SPIN MY SHIP IN THE STATION anymore, there's nothing else to do.
The blatant CCP alts are getting out of hand, trying to bury our perfectly good threads. Fight back!

This one by a long shot, hence its name of "Threadgendary."
We're part of history. Isn't it fun?
More lasers!

I'm coming out to Jita to add some beams and sparklies to the show. We can't back down now, it will look like weakness! Keep it all going, the protests, the threadgendary, everything.
We will not back down.
We will not surrender.

Lets say that the new incoming crowd of players loves the idea of being able to purchase wtfpwn guns from the NEX. They buy said guns and what's left of the player base happily ganks said noob and loots the new $hiney wtfpwn guns.
The first thing that is going to happen is that newb is going to raise holy hell that he paid cash for those guns and it isn't fair that he lost them so quickly and will refuse to buy more because its a waste of money.
Do you think CCP will protect the old dinosaur player that is damaging its new revenue stream or will rush in to protect the bottom line?
What actions do they have available to protect that revenue stream from drying up?
Nahh if they're going that route, i.e. "i win button" on NeX, that means they'll eventually have to make stuff invulnerable and can't be looted or won't drop, kind'a like WoW, you get some repair bills for your items, you end up in a graveyard, but you lost nothing of the gear you have equipped, which will be a complete shift of what Eve is. but then that's just a scenario.
Exactly. After the grizzled veterans quit, the supply of materials and manufactured goods will dry up. Just like the real world economies, a small percentage of players control a huge majority of the market. Megacorporations "make" the game.
When the only players EVE has left are the twitchy FPS-kiddies with no attention spans who just want to blow things up, they'll have no options. No ores, no minerals, no blueprints, no ships, and no goods transportation. The player run supply-side will be effectively gone, or at least a large majority of it will. So what happens then? Real money for basic ships? NPC factions selling ships? Real money for skillpoints? CCP would have to intervene in the economy somehow, and that creates more problems than it solves.

If they really are going in this direction, they'll nuke these old forums and try to erase their history so the nubs they attract won't see the bloodstains on the walls.

Threadgendary Armathreddon?
This thread is beyond any title.
It is now simply --- The Thread ---
You're probably right. If we keep it up, it will be too mythical to have a name, especially when CCP nukes these forums and moves all the new players to the new forums. It will go down in EVE lore as just...
THE thread.
