For some odd reason my HUD or "Heads Up Display" / Control Panel / Set of buttons has moved by itself.
Here is a picture of it;
http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1536942&page=1
It used to be located in the bottom center of the screen. It has moved all the way to the bottom right of the screen where the bottom rack can not be clicked on. Another problem this causes is that when in a system with a lot of items, like asteroids / ice, etc, my Overview will cover the HUD. So if a rat locks onto me, in order to fire back I have to move or minimize the Overview before being able to click on anything in the HUD.
So normally (yes I know EVE is not "normal") you should be able to click on the HUD and drag it around to where you want to, however that does not appear to be an option.
Does anyone know how to move the HUD back to where it belongs?
Thanks

Edited by: Xtops on 24/06/2011 19:36:20 Try left clicking-and dragging on the center of the capacitor circles (the center of the yellow colored section above the speed indicator). You should be able to drag it. If not, type "Xtops" into any chat channel and select/highlight the text, right click and Autolink->character then right click and start conversation. I'm on for awhile and I'll try to help.

Just grab the capacitor with your mouse and you can drag it sideways to any place which suits you. If you click the icon in the bottom right (looks like 4 stacked lines) you can access HUD settings, including aligning it along the top of your screen. --- ISD IonCharge Lt. Commander ISD STAR |

Edited by: Notti I on 24/06/2011 19:44:54 Thank you for both of the replies. Yes that worked. Very simple once you know that you have to click the capacitor.
I did find the overview settings which is the tiny box that looks like four vertical lines. And I did see that it allows you to align to top and align to bottom. Perhaps it would be a good idea to also offer align to left, right or center... Seems the perfect place for that.
