As stated in the topic, the best way to fight CCP is to hurt their income. Post on Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, the homeless guy downtown how CCP is destroying a game that so many of us have fell in love with it. There are always people looking for a new game. Just make sure their new game isn't Eve until it is fixed.
Thoughts?

Destroy the influx of new paying subscribers and make CCP's money situation worse not only ruining the community but causing CCP to take even more drastic measures to stay afloat. Best plan I've ever heard. |

That,, looks rather bad. Graphically, as well as gameplay wise.
I'd have told you to look at "Tabula Rasa" by richard garriott, but the game got canceled a while ago. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabula_Rasa_%28video_game%29
Well, world of warcraft is no doubt happily accepting new peers. And there's a few new - actual - free to play games up on Steam now.
Nothing actually "space opera" style though, so many players would have trouble adjusting.
Personally I'm hoping for Diablo 3 by the end of this year, and I suspect it'll keep me entertained for a good while.

Perpetuum Online is the Only EVE Online like game but with Mechs, and the Devs of this game are caring about the playerbase.. not like CCP!

I hear TF2 is now free to play. Their microtransactions are cheaper too.

I believe Earth and Beyond is still running on a legal, player run server. I haven't seen it, but I've heard it's actually pretty cool.

I'm not going to go around encouraging others to quit. Everyone has to make their own choice. Let's face it, people accept some pretty bad customer service in many aspects of life. Some just deal with it, others take their business elsewhere. That being said, I do not put up with a company telling me they hate me. I am downloading Perpetuum now. If I enjoy it, that will be my destination.
