CCP says that character transfers are unscammable and taken seriously. This is a lie. I filed a petition immediately after this happened to me and have still heard nothing. Eight days of nothing and stonewalling from "Customer Support." Eight days of turmoil. Eight days of seeing my petition "open" rather than "in action."
I can't really play the game due to the loss of my main now. I have tried five times to get the attention of someone who can help via petitions and all I am told is that I am "impatient" and wait in line (I mainly petition through the "Stuck" category as that is read rather than ignored.)
Impatient! Friends of mine get losses addressed faster than what is a serious matter of fraud! I know I will be trolled and flamed and told I am an idiot by some on here. I know I will be told to use my main or STFU. But I can't use my main! I have no main! So help me!
Finally, I think this speaks to the decrepit nature of Customer Support at CCP, for if they don't take fraud seriously, then what do they?

I was trading my main and received, for all intents and purposes, not what the buyer told me he was going to provide as payment. I followed all the rules as well with regard to character forum.
But the point is that 8 fUing days after this event CCP has not even looked at my petition. They have not even told me they are investigating or doing anything! This is what angers me the most.
I expected maybe 72 hours to get this investigated. But eight days and still nothing!

Show us the relevant post in character bazaar please. Not that we can do anything but it may help some from running into the same thing with the scammer you ran so unfortunately into.
And don't dispare, they take this serious. You'll get your char back if you stayed on the save side.

Something tells me you did not trade for isk, was isk sent to that account, did you check the insk going into that account before activating the transfer - if not then yes you are an idiot and no refund will be forthcomming
