Hi there I'm sure the question has been asked a thousand times, but I am really confused because while searching for an answer I fount two possible explanations... How long does a jetcan stay in space before it goes *pof* ?
In ISK and somewhere else on the internet, it's said 2 hours. Though on another site someone said 1 hr + x min (from 0 to 60) depending on when CCP cleans the space.
Thanks for replies - Yann Xonogoth |

I've heard that it depends on whether the jetcan is renamed or not, but I don't know if it is true.

Edited by: Valkyria Caeli on 27/06/2011 16:14:27 I have heard mostly two hours but I have also heard that it is some what random but around two hours. I have gone for between 1 and 1.5 hours pretty regularly without loosing a can but I have never pushed it to the limit.

Regards,
What she said. ^^ I've jettisoned more than a thousand cans, and never had one pop more than a minute from 2 hours. There used to be an old wive's tale about it bring random. Not in any release i've played.
I timestamp mine with the Eve time 1 hour and 40 minutes after I jettison. The extra 20 minutes gives me time to notice it's about to go. I've only lost 3-4 since I started doing that.
