Edited by: Ayieka on 25/06/2011 20:50:21 you also have to look at the bad publicity, as well as the fact that most new people don't have fun playing eve :D

You might as well quit your protests. 90% of the people in these protests are just in it for the ride and the thrill of doing something different in Eve. Not like on the news where people burn american flags and protest kind of mentallity.
But whatever tickles your bones, go for it.
Edit: fixed numbers
You're weighting your stats incorrectly.
The departing subscriptions are hardcore and loyal players that hold multiple accounts and have been with this game for years. The influx of subscriptions are new players coming into a game that is very complex and not exactly newbie-friendly.
An old axiom comes to mind. "One in the hand is worth two in the bush."
CCP would be wise to realize that.

Up to 2500 and thats just from people who visit the forums. So your 3500 is probably a understatement. However your 35000 is laughable, and the fact that Eve has the worst turnover rate it wont help CCP much.

Why deny them the pleasure? If they've got something better to do than shoot at an indestructable structure for hours on end they're free to go do it. Maybe like going back out to nullsec and shoot at a near indestructable structure for hours on end.

You seem to forget how it will impact you. that 1 new player is not the same as 1 old player. 10 new players are not the same as 1 old one. You think a new player will have the same impact on the market? Will have the same experience at leading corps, mission, productions,... Less stuff created/Acquired means higher prices. So you gonna pay for years to get back at the current level of market efficiency.

Chribba quit. My whole corp has unsubscribed. I'm letting my sub run out. - More than 3500 people are quitting, and along with them, thousands more of accounts.
Stop pulling statistics out of your ass.

Actually, if we get a new influx of players who are here just to feed the CCosmetic coffers, so be it.
The DUSTies can play on the ground.
The MONO-DOLLS can play in the stations.
And the rest of us can keep doing what we do in our ships.
I have no problem with attracting console or fashion-based players to the EVE universe. I have a problems with paying for non-cosmetic upgrades that can give anyone an advantage. Extra ship slots is not a game-killer, but it's a slippery-slope I'd rather not step onto.

You ragewhiners are all just jealous, don't get enough attention IRL or poor. The vast of us don't care about the changes otherwise we would also be here with all our 1 day old alts. I'm guessing only 30-40 actual players are whining here.

wrong, if those 3500 people(wild amount) quit, those 3500 people will put up so much bad press that anyone in their friend circle wont join. I for one intend to prevent anyone I know from joining EVE until its fixed. MonocleMonocle

What planet are you on. dont something likr 90% of new people quit after 6 weeks or something?

Exactly, CCP should so something about the new player experience, not get them a box to walk in and a AUR store.

Let's do some maths! 1500 unsubs 750 of these are people saying something like "-2 character". We all know there are 3 characters per subscription. 100 of these are outright lies, and people posting multiple times with different alts. 650 unsubs. 500 of these people will resubscribe.
150 unsubs total due to lies and hot air.
