No cease fire.
Once momentum is lost, the masses stumble over their feet and back into the astroid fields.
You can either be for the revolution or be swept away by history. ;)

A temporary ceasefire until July 2nd. Then if there is no clear message from CCP about selling in game advantages for $ the ceasefire is over.

Zulu delivered not only a direct response, but the correct response. Props to you, Zulu.
Then you fell for the smoke and mirrors just like they wanted you to.
My vote: No. Burn it down. You can always call in the fire engines after the CSM meeting.
If they really were going to NOT sell beyond-vanity items, then WHY are the CSM going to Iceland, if not to be directly conned into supporting CCP?
I bet they all come back with Monocles. Mittani, if you read this... you don't have to say anything about the meeting... just buy a Monocle for your toon and we'll all know that they are going ahead with their beyond-vanity plans.

After that poorly written piece of PR, which never even addressed the question. All it did was buy them more time before they had to answer it, if the even answer it then.
I'd have to reluctantly say no

First of all I don't want ANY micro-transactions in Eve, however I will freely admit that I am in the minority on that issue. However, even if after the meeting and CCP issues a statement that they plan to reduce prices in the store, and that they promise that there will not be any non-vanity virtual goods available for sale, would you trust them?
I'm not sure I can, or would. There are only so many times a person can reasonably forgive another when trust is violated, and I think a lot of the Eve Community have reached that limit. Alliance Owned Stargates

No, how they respond after the drama is irrelevant. Its how their lack of response and the insulting manner they portray their customer base in their internal communication that is revolting.
Nothing they say now will mend what they have done, they have forever lost the trust of their customer base and the gaming world at large. Anything they do or say now is just to protect their own ass and "golden goose". It will be self serving and not a reflection of respect their customers have EARNED.
CCP is dead to me and I have a hunch after Dust flops dead as a corporation.

No, Hell NO!
They don't need to fly the CSM to Iceland, they could talk directly to the players.
Plus this from Zulu's Dev Blog "Therefore we have asked the CSM to join us in Iceland for an extraordinary meeting June 30th and July 1st to discuss the events of past week, to help us define and address the real underlying concerns, and to assist us in defining and iterating on our virtual goods strategy. The result of this meeting should be mutual agreement of how virtual goods and services will evolve in EVE. Other issues may be brought up and we urge you to contact the CSM with your comments and concerns so that they may be addressed at this session."
I've underlined the important bits, I read this as Non Vanity, Game effecting items are still on the agenda.

Yes. This is a step in the right direction.
Vanity items are part of the problem but hardly the whole thing. A long term commitment to gameplay policies that favor current play styles, including but not limited to never selling gameplay related items for AUR, is required - but it's only part of the problem.
The main problem is the under investment in EVE that has been going on for the past few expansions, we are being milked to finance other projects.
We want our subscription fees to be reinvested into EVE, not spent on vaporware.
If WoD and DUST have to be delayed or scrapped, so be it. EVE IS THE MAIN THING. I am neither a Vampire nor a Starship Trooper. Certainly not a golden goose. And I don't really care if CCP lusts for possibly unreachable markets where it may not even be able to compete. All I want is EVE, and as an indie developer, CCP suits me fine.
I see no problem with being humble and making decent money, as long as you do something AWESOME. CCP can find someone else to leech in order to finance their power trips, but not on my EVE.
The approach to the CSM is the right thing to do. What we want takes time and long term decision making. The kind of decisions that involve long term investments. CCP should learn from the CSM what our game needs, then INVEST MONEY, PUT EFFORT and SHOW US LOVE for EVE.
Don't ever treat us as goolden goose used to finance vampire crappy stuff or first person shooters. This is EVE. It's already good enough. FOCUS ON IT ffs.
These Icelandic people, they are stubborn as rocks. Point them in the right direction, they make awesome stuff like EVE. Leave them to loose touch with reality and you have a bunch of hallucinating morons. CCP will find it's course. And we are here to HELP.

Why have a cease fire, no one is actually losing anything? Just keep going full tilt, if you slow down CCP might decide that things are not as bad as when the leaks happened and continue on the path they orginially chose.
