lets keep unsubbed and urging people on the forums to do the same until after the CSM if they fail again let EvE burn. Until then lets leave the carebears and scammers alone in jita to make some isk.

A timeline that is 3 days to late.
I will not give them more time on something they could have fixed the same day it broke.

Yes.
They'll either work it out with the CSM and only lose a few subs... come up with some half-assed compromise and let EvE bleed... or drop the ball and watch EvE burn.
CCP knows the pressure is on and that we aren't happy, that got us to this point. Now we wait for the CSM meeting.

Obviously the protests have worked and they are getting the CSM who represent the players to go and talk about MT and how to develop it.
I think they didnt gauge how much we cared about this topic now they do and are looking how they can fix it for their benefit while now hopefully listening to our feedback. I cant quite understand why another meeting is required when I thought it had been made quite clear to draw the line at vanity items only but I am willing to wait and hear what has to be said at the meeting.

They did that before. People from the previous CSM actually resigned over it. The current CSM has been very clear about their stance on MT. They're actively ignoring their advice concerning what to write in their dev blogs that doesn't make them look like clueless ****heads. What do you expect to change next week with that track record? It's not like they haven't been talking about this before.

hardly - but if the other side offers a truce to confer then its usually a good idea to accept and let them speak. That is what's happened formally now and I believe trebor has already clarified the question on "gold-ammo = other game advantages" to our satisfaction - ie, no game-changing advantage through Aurum period.
So as I voted, give them the chance to talk and win back the trust we believe they had lost. We lose nothing by being principled and open-minded at this point.
This, in no uncertain terms. The ongoing lack of trust for CCP is most definitely understandable; and we should absolutely hold them to a standard of judging by actions and not merely words. Work through the CSM, making our message clear and demanding an answer equally clear.
Remember: If CCP is not forthcoming, we will have further clear and justified opportunity to make our immense displeasure known; and they perhaps will have plenty of otherwise unemployed time on their hands to consider the same as well.

You have to love the EVE-O drama.
So now we have three factions:
1) The majority of players who are either angered or amused by the minority of self entitled wombats claiming to speak for them. 2) The small but loud group that are living in a world of self delusion that they are somehow important enough to dictate CCP policy. They are at least willing to take a deep breath and wait for this CSM meeting before passing judgement. 3) The even smaller splinter group formerly associated with group two that are nothing but a group of thugs. Advocating everything from jamming nodes to calling in hacker groups to disable CCP. Nothing said by anyone will satisfy these losers who are so butt hurt over next to nothing that they will happily destroy the very game they spent years trying to build.
Yes folks. We live in the proverbial interesting times.
