CSM is NOT us , CSM rapresents just some of us, which is fine still... please CSM members, given u'r gifted with the privilege of speaking directly with CCP. Can you explain us what are you goin to ask them? on which points u won't bend yr knees to CCP ? Given looks like the only way CCP is gonna deal with us is via you (CSM) i'd like to be sure u'r goin to represent our (mine aswell of course) interests. you might aswell add a list of what CSM should say/ask to ccp

Is there a way you can record either by video or tape the meeting? I know you will have to edit certain parts out. But to help calm the situation fastest this would be the most efficent route. If you cant, you cant, just a suggestion. Also, more amarr ships like the maller!

Hit this sub-forum expecting this thread to be here and started by a CSM member. Will be leaving very disappointed.
I would like them to keep asking why, 12 months ago, CCP Shadow said there were no plans whatsoever to introduce microtransactions in to Eve. This had to be on their radar back then. You can't just pull this out of nowhere. Issues with the game are on their to-do list for years before seeing attention (if at all) and we're expected to believe they suddenly had an idea about microtransactions last month, or something?

Edited by: Pirokobo on 26/06/2011 19:39:10 Companies that don't fear their customers, don't have any. CCP has fallen from ineptitude and indifference to entitlement and arrogance.

However I let my frustration take charge of me, fueled by emotions that had built up due to a breach of trust we at CCP have been experiencing over the past few days. I know that sounds ironic considering those are the exact same feelings you have been having towards CCP.
For that I am sorry.
Arnar is not sorry for what he said. He's sorry he got caught. He's sorry that people have leaked him talking down about the people who pay for his pants, and now trying very desperately to do everything in the corporate CYA playbook.
EVE Online used to be unique, because it was the one game which allowed and encouraged racketeering of all kinds, defying all norms of MMORPG games. A game that openly encourages players to treat each other like dirt and punishes almost nothing.
But that aspect, the unrestricted open-ended large scale player interaction, the one thing that DIFFERENTIATES eve from dozens of competitors (even a few set in space now), is the one thing that receives the LEAST attention.
CCP's mistake is in trying to expand beyond its core mechanic before even perfecting it. They're trying to bury longstanding issues with more new broken features and it's been going on for years.
It wasn't a $60 dollar monocle that set the playerbase off. It was the realization that not only was the $60 monocle more important in CCP's mind then fixing the core game, but that in the future we can expect more of the same because that's the way that they see more value to themselves in. That they're PATTING THEMSELVES ON THE BACK for the $60 monocle while doing absolutely nothing to fix supercapital balance, the technetium bottleneck, small scale pvp, faction warfare, fleet lag, inflation, etc etc etc.
Given that realization the only thing left to do is complain or leave.
