I think everyone needs to settle down about the whole Noble Exchange issues. If certain small number of individuals wish to buy virtual clothing to put on there character than so be it. I feel that the majority of the players of this game will not bother to spend actual currency on such frivolous things.
I think that we have all made our point that we are concerned where the game is seemingly headed. So why don't we all just put our pitchforks and firebrands back into the closet and sit back and watch what happens for a little while. Perhaps then we can gain some perspective on things and enjoy the game again. And lets not forget that dust514 is linked into the rest of the eve universe. So saying that ccp does not care what we have to say is quite naive. They would never let the original game die from people being unhappy about the direction of the game. Even if it is for the simple reason that the source of revenue that funds their dust514 project is eve as it stands right now.
If it comes to pass however that ccp releases certain items onto the aurum market that have an effect on game play such as : ammo, ships, implants , and or SP amounts. Then it is time to break out the firebrands again and demand some changes. Until that day lets just enjoy the game.

Edited by: Twylla on 26/06/2011 20:00:25 Edited by: Twylla on 26/06/2011 19:58:38 CCP deliberately evaded any CSM review of the NeX/Aurum features despite repeated and specific requests, and released a half-finished product that should have seen months of active testing on Sisi before being released to the public.
Any company that releases untested products in total ignorance of feedback from their community deserves to burn. Square Enix is burning for the same thing they did with FFXIV. CCP is not immune, they live in the same real world as other developers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Twylla DeVarii

If there is no line that you hold you might as well fold and not complain about anything ever again.
And incarna is at least one or two years too early and is just shopping closet for now. Multiplayer functionality of it is the key, without it it remains as a engine showcase.

I don't know about you but I can't even begin to remember how many games right out of the box I have purchased that required major work and patches that needed to be downloaded right away just to play the game.
As far as if they release things into the aurum market that effect the game play like that then yes I believe a lot of people would quit and rightly so.

This.
If all you ever do is rant and rage, and then keep paying your subscription, why should CCP listen to anything you have to say? Ever?
If this change is a dealbreaker, then hit them where it hurts. Unsubscribe.
If it isn't a dealbreaker, then communicate like a rational human being and try to come to a compromise.
