As I was surfing the internet researching EVE related statistics I discovered something called a Quarterly Economic Newsletter (QEN) which provided some very interesting economic and demographical data concerning the EVE universe. Thing is CCP stopped publishing these after the 2010 edition. Does anyone know why CCP discontinued these newsletters, if they plan to ever release them again, or where I might find an up to date source for this kind of information? :job cuts: "We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming. |

It sad tough because it was more or less the only way you had some sort of EVE history book if you'd collect them all. And they looked just amazing. Hi, I'm CCP Arrow, I screwed up the.. ummm... |

QEN gave real info that CCP's marketing couldn't spin with their PR machines.

They are sorely missed and I don't even DO industry. It really showed off how the entire economy was in the hands of the players. One of the unique aspects of EVE which make it great.

Above you can find all the QEN's that have been published.
According to Massively.joystiq.com CCP has not stopped releasing QEN's, but merely made limited them to yearly issues. All that moves is easilly heard in the void. |

CCP published QEN's at a time the game was experiencing healthy growth you can draw your own conclusions. WARNING: The current poster is erratic, prone to error and generally blissfully unaware due to the taking of many hard drugs over the course of many years - most of them legal. |

EVE didn't stop growing in subs. They stopped it because it was taking up too much time. |

Why publish economic newsletter for a game which is clearly dying? Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

You can find out most of what was in those QENs and more detailed information at: http://eve-marketdata.com/
On demographics, behavior, or item useage... I don't know what to tell you. I think only CCP would have that info.
