Faction it up if you want even better stats but.. @Max skills DPS 508 Tank 617 speed 752 If you have Leadership skills just add any random alt into your fleet and the tank of course gets better. Damn i'm an alt. I must totally live in Jita, better offer double your isk back in local then.

I flew that exact fit for a while (with the targetting subsystem) and while it looks nice on paper (ignore the person just above, his has way less dps due to the lack of range) the constant moving is killing any real efficiency. Switched to tengu and missions went much faster, said screw it and went back to faction battleship and goes even faster (since i am in amarr space).

I've been wanting to fly Loki on missions for a while, because Tengu is boring as buggery, but I'm a min/maxer and the Loki (or Legion, or LOLProteus) just don't have the range. Sure, their close-range DPS looks nice on paper, but time wasted getting into range means less actual DPS. Plus the Vargur/Macharial (or hell, even vanilla Minmatard battleships) are far better suited to level 4 missions than the Loki.

Bossanova Widya	Posted - 2011.06.28 08:05:00 - [12] general thought b4 flying 1 is thinking "thats gonna be 1 super cane"... wen in reality it is more a fleet pvp ship/explorer its dps is about 100 lower, but it makes up for this by having 2 of the best electronic subsystems/minmatar "even stevens" resists/command bonuses/small sig... and awesome cloaky abilities drawbacks are; small cargohold, poor(ish) dps and low PG wen not using power core subsystem

I get about the same DPS out of my basic fit Loki that I get from my basic fit Tengu (~520 dps). The optimal range of the Loki is only about 31k, but it gets to where it needs to be in a hurry (750 m/s with AB). It does much greater damage than the Tengu when using Hail ammo, although the range is restricted to ~15k. Loki is best against rats with high resists to kinetic damage (eg. angels, drones, sanshas, amarr). Particularly if the rats spawn on top on you. Outstanding ship for doing L4 Angel Buzzkill mission.

I have more skills in missiles than gunnery and its still faster than a CNR. A torp golem could mission as fast. . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.

I didn't think the tengu could be that great, but a pimped tengu (even with the unprobable fit) chews through L4s like a chainsaw. The bonus being I never have to refit or change ammo. Makes missioning a breeze. I know you've been around awhile, so maybe there's some secret to the mach i'm not familiar with.

Should be 800-ish with fury heavy missiles, which also have way better damage application against smaller targets and their range is beyond your locking range. Simply put, Tengu FTW
