CCP
Are you moving beyond VANITY AUR items?
The above question will NOT go away.
CCP, Eve is your property to do with as you wish. But there is such a thing as Professional Ethics, which come into play for a variety of reasons, including HONEST SERVICE FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS.
Your game or not, from a pure "professional ethics" standpoint, we are well within our rights to DEMAND a clear, NO WIGGLE ROOM, answer. Furthermore, from a purely "professional ethics" standpoint, you MUST provide said answer. You do have a choice: Be an honest professional, or don't be.
No wiggle answer. No damage control answer. No answer designed to allow later backtracking.
A clear, and comprehensive answer, and if it has ugly points, be CLEAR and BLUNT about them.
If you are CLEAR and BLUNT, you can add "Pay to Win" items AND be well within Professional Ethics.
If you intend to add "pay to win", but are not CLEAR and BLUNT, then you are unprofessional swine.
Add "beyond vanity" items if you so desire. It IS your game. But you have a PROFESSIONAL OBLIGATION to be CLEAR and BLUNT about it.
Play nice while you butcher each other.

We're going to interpret that as an improbably definite 'maybe'.

All signs point to moving beyond vanity aur items eventually. Better to accept this now.

Then CCP needs to SAY THAT.
Bluntly, and without wiggle room.

Wrong
Extremely wrong.
For good or ill, such behavior goes to the core of professional ethics.

They have spelled it out plain as day. The only question is how long they hold out as only vanity.

Ah but that would mean they forgot the golden rule while they were killing the Golden Goose.
The rule has always been Whom ever has the gold makes the rules!

Nope, they have waffled and wiggled. Professional Ethics REQUIRES Blunt and Clear.

No one cares about your ethics. The only thing that matters is profit. Now pay your subscription fee or get out you peasant.
They will implement non-vanity items and you'll either like it or leave. They don't care, we don't care. They can always get lots more subscribers with the game being made easy for new people.
Take your ethics and get out.

It says they won't be selling "gold ammo". We need something a bit broader.
For example:
"CCP will not any sort of RL money (or AUR) purchased pvp advantage to Eve. No special combat ships, no special haulers, no special modules or ammos, no special anything that might even slightly be 'pay to win'.
Having said this, we reserve the right to offer a variety of goods and services that are NOT 'pay for pvp advantage'. And not just clothes. For example: imagine a luxury Yacht that has zero advantage over existing in game ships, but has has an awesome interior that you can show off to envious friends (or enemies)....."
