Hi! With the last patch you gave us a framework of what we could expect over the trickle releases and a rough timeframe. We have had CQ, what is coming next and roughly when can we expect it please?
- thanks
I came, I saw, I downloaded. |

They will open the door to the station. It opens into a small corridor. The corridor has no other doors.

When it was announced that incursion was coming in parts we had a release schedule.
Why no schedule for Incarna?

i'm hoping for mechanical arms and legs personally i'd pay a plex or 2 for those surgerys ....
anyway....
Most likely release of the other station CQ's ... followed by probably some customization of the CQ... then finally opening up the stations

The other 3 captains quarters will come late this fall and then :content: next spring in a very delayed winter expansion. That's why there's no release schedule since CCP doesn't want to add fuel to the fire.

Why no schedule for Incarna?
Per CCP's track record, this will be as far as Incarna goes. In 15 months, CCP will revisit their work and remove some features that users have become accustomed to using and from which they derive value.

We'll probably get the caldari CQ as the next "expansion" around christmas. If they go totally overboard, we get some cutscenes depicting capuslers exiting and entering their pods. Nebulaes might or might not make it.
But we'll get 500 new items in the NEX store.

Content will be drinking spiked Quafe, and watching your character's vision blur and stumble a bit. When people ask what gameplay that adds, CCP will reply with some nonsense about immersion. Meanwhile, the dreams of the Incarna that will never be-the Incarna with PVP and meaningful gameplay-will continue to rot.

Either of two things are happening:
1. They are going to surprise us real soon with Incarna complete release. 2. They have no idea what they are doing. I came, I saw, I downloaded. |

It's clear that they there's no real plan for actual content in Incarna. Bars and casinos are fluff, not gameplay.

They still have to fix the crap they screwed up in this patch before they move on to a new one. I am still having issues that are seriously affecting gameplay out in my ships.

So, i do wonder what comes next that can get my intention a little longer.

Why no schedule for Incarna?
Because right now the release schedule has been lost in the tide of "Who the hell leaked all those bloody documents!" memos.

How would PVP in stations make any sense? You aren't in your pod, so when you die, you're dead. Not to mention the fact that I imagine most stations having, you know, rules and law enforcement.

The same way PVP in Dust makes sense. Plus, considering this is a sci-fi universe, and canon is not necessarily as important as gameplay, you could probably make up a system of consequences that would get around the "perma-death" issue. As for law enforcement, there's law enforcement in Jita, and that doesn't stop crime. There could be 0.0, low sec, and high sec districts of stations.

Having no PVP in stations makes even LESS sense. So what if death in station PVP is permanent? That situation would be more immersive than not even being able to punch someone.. or, you know, actually see another person.

That too. How awkward is it going to be to see an enemy alliance's leader in a bar and just be able to :emote fart: at them?

I think the Idea of 0.0 areas is crap, way to much risk in space to not control the entire station. Now, Free trade areas in high sec I can see. Also, entire stations might have different rules, such as a free traders station allowing hand weapons, drugs, and all kinds of vices, but spacing people out airlocks for failing to pay a bar tab.
