Hello EVE population,
I love my iphone and use it frequently to access emails and facebook while away from home. I have seen other post on these forums that suggest a way to change the way skills are run, ie you get x amount of SP/h and that is given to you no matter what, and can be applied to a skill at a later date. And i thought to myself, thats a good idea.. i then remembered the Capsuleer app, which allows you to keep track of your finances and see if you have a skill in training, and i thought to myself.. Could you update your skill queue from an App? i think this is a good way to go in EVE as lots of people (myself included) have to spend time away from home and can lose out on SP.. just a thought :)
Thanks for reading.
Regards,

The app could also allow access to the market (depending of the current location of the selected character), allow messages, chat, corp/allicance communication and joining/search/leaving/etc. Basically everything for which you do not have to leave the station.
Furthermore, you could offer a security service like WoW (uho- I mentioned IT) - a generated code for the login to further prevent account hacking.

I like this idea too, although I imagine the character would have to be docked to use these facilities. I would imagine though that CCP won't be doing this before we get the ability to update via a web browser, which I still believe is a long way away.
This would however be useful as it would let people who are constantly on the move to keep their skill training up without effective being scrutinised for simply not being able to get on a capable computer in time. I for one know a few people who loose out on skill points often due to not being able to access their queues via the cheap work netbooks that they carry about.
