my idea is simple. have a "next structure" button or something of the like that scrolls the screen to all the different structures on the planet, im forever loosing where i put extractors

Could be handy, but not a big issue. Sometimes I spend a bit of time rotating around the planet, wondering where I put my colony.

when can we bombard the planets. This would be a good thing for when corps declare war on each other. Be the kind of man that when your feet hit the floor each morning, the devil says "Oh crap, he's up!"

^This.
When you go into planet mode it should take you to your launchpad (which is actually the center of the colony and not the stupid "command" center). IF you have more than one then just go to the first in the list. IT would be a lot more useful than the command center.
...or, let me move my command center without loosing the entire colony.

There's a button 'view planetary command center' next to the exit button. I always have my CC next to my launchpad. I don't know how you build up your planets, but I guess it wouldn't be hard to put in another button for the launch pad, or make that a dropdown menu (move to ....)

on my pure extraction planets. i will have an extractor, a basic processor and a spaceport. i will have two such setups on the planet. i also move these every week or so to a better location on the resources heat map, meaning my structures can be anywhere.

Finding "lost" extractors is fairly easy. Just follow the routing lines and eventually you will find them. Problem solved. Be the kind of man that when your feet hit the floor each morning, the devil says "Oh crap, he's up!"

This. You can zoom out, circle around and look at every spot on the planet in a matter of seconds.

except i dont have links or "routing lines" going all over the planet. as i mentioned above, i have a spaceport next to each extractor. so there is nothing for me to follow anywhere

try this on a oceanic planet and see how you fare. the contrasting colors between the planet and the structures make that very difficult

The processors are orange and the planet is blue.
Just put your launchpad close to your command center, what's so hard about that?

the part where i wont put links around the planet from extractor to spaceport at the command center as you suggest. i can get a few more extractor heads out for the cost of your proposed link. my spaceports are directly next to my extractor control units
as for the orange thing. when zoomed out to see any sort of decent area on the planet. its too insignificant to see. especially on large surface area planets
