All the talk about monocle and t shirt prices made me consider what it now means to be really rich in Eve. I reckon anything over 1 trillion ISK is rich, 100b or more is comfortable, 10b to 100b is ok, and anyone with less than 1B in assets is quite poor.
I dare say many players have a lot more than 1 trillion ISK, and a lot more have less than 1B
So if I was obscenely rich (I'm not!) here is an idea for how to blow it:
1. Buy 3 different titans (roughly 200B) 2. Faction fit all of them (150B) 3. Buy three titan-ready characters off the bazaar to fly each titan. Put them on the different slots of your account (120B) 4. Buy 10 to 20 years worth of plex for the account. (50B) 5. Buy a monocle for each character (5B)
Then of course, because you'd be loaded and can waste money, you would never, ever use the account. Just leave it logged off.
Anyone got any other ideas? I was thinking buy 1 of every tech 2 bpo. Difficult since some are inactive. But anyone dubious over parting with their beloved BPO could be won over by offering them 10 times market value. So a single HAC BPO could be 1 trillion, a hulk bpo 2 - 3 trillion, etc.
Then of course, because you are obscenely rich and don't need these bpos, you could put them all in a can, jettison it outside Jita, then blow it up.
If anyone did that, probably switching off the computer and going out for some fresh air would be a good idea.

Thanks, I'm just bored and killing time in the waiting room of the rehab clinic.
Here's another idea - buy everything off the market in Jita. Every item, every unit of trit, every ship, claim every contract. If you were really wealthy, maybe extend it to the whole of Empire.
That would actually cause serious problems for the entire game and I guess CCP would have to step in. I have no idea how rich you'd have to be do that. But obscene wouldn't begin to describe it.

Your knowledge of the amount of ISK that flows through the market on a daily basis is comical. ~~~

Wealth is a relative concept. For example, I enjoy running missions using interceptors, so I only have about 200 million in my bank account at any one time. (After saving for ages and having next to no losses.)
I also love my shirt!

I think it's perfectly reasonable - he's personally wealthy enough to do what he likes (fly missions in 'ceptors). Of course, by any other definition of wealth it's quite poor.

Give all the ISK to one toon. Then biomass the toon. It's what I'm going to do later on.

I know that a lot more ISK flows through Eve than is on the market at any one time, that's obvious. I'm sure by the end of that day the market would be full again. But at much higher prices, and it would take a long time to stabilise again.

Real Gentlemen don't discuss money outside boardrooms or business luncheons, brief discussions during golf games are permitted too. All of the above are vulgar peasant habits. How are you expecting to better yourselves if you behave like that?

Buying titans and all is just too much work for a simple task like blowing ISK. Just create a toon - could be on trial account - transfer ISK and biomass.

Solo PvP in Estamel fit kestrels.
Form a corp and wardec everyone old privateers style.
Find random arrogant alliance leaders and hire GHSC to go after them for the lulz.
Buy all t2 BPOs and trash them.
Manipulate critical market items eg. moon goo to cause mass panic.
Hire a fleet of dedicated mercs to shut down the areas of 0.0 where major botting happens.

I Wonder how much a T2 bpo would be worth atm... i mean u can invent it all now so no real need for em anymore.
I have a T2 bpo stuck in a can somewhere and considered selling it from time to time, but nobody seems to be able to tell me what to ask for it.
Mebbe i should ask ccp to buy it of me or exchange it for another useless article like... a monocle... ROTFLMFAO!!! ________________________________________________

I think the main reason this wouldn't work is that you couldn't physically buy everything off the market fast enough to kill the economy. You'd need an alliance of players that are all ridiculously wealthy, hitting every region in empire at the same time if you wanted to achieve that.
And it would be hilarious too!
But the market would get stocked up again quite quickly. And CCP most definately would not intervene - it's a real economy and what you're doing is totally legit, so it's all fair game.
