for the past 24hours the great stain empire has been blockading one of its most wanted pirates in a station within the system 4gq(stain central system).
the blockade did not give in at the daily time our universe stops. and many loyal stain warriors spent hours at a time working in shifts to maintain the blockade on the villan who with other members of his pirate gang are responsible for downing 8+ bs class vesel's in the last week.
today at 17:00 hour's standered universal time he was seen near his ship in the hanger of the 4gq station where neutral station owning corporation guards stood guard to ensure no incidents occured between the stations stain populace and him.
shortly after he vanished from the local chat networks.
a member of stain then recorded a short message from one of his corp mates. Articwolf: the gm's done emper a little faivour. shortly after he reported to us. Exzodier: The GM's moved him because what you lot was doing. said it was harrasment.
the exact wording has been changed in these log's for matters of internal security.
shortly after a agent within the angel cartel i had tracking him came back with this:
The scumsucker is located in the 42-UOW system in the VH1-NS constellation of Stain region.
With regards, Cormack Vaaja.
Now these Gm's (goddly men is what we are guessing he meant) must not like the stain empire or must have something against a alliance defending itself the only way it can with these WCS fitted pirates about. A shame as so much time was spent.
so all other alliance beware you are open to atack and nothing can be done.
also beware goddly men as they have powers.

Seriously, a GM wouldn't have done that... would they? Official statement from them would clear it up...

This is crap. If you have the manpower to keep him there then it should be so.
It's not harrasment if he is pirating your ships in your region of space.

The exact wording has been changed huh? Well lets change that wording to please excuse my credibility. And I dont spell favor anywhere near that, because in fact, I speak english :). Also, please get the number of ships killed correctly, I dont even know to what power to raise 8 to get it closer to our kills of stain empire. Maybe emperor got out of system in the covert ops he has in station? who knows for sure.

Also, not saying anything about what happened. whats the definition of a stuck petition? Is your character stuck in space or a station and cant play?
Now, lets review some facts, emperor was stuck in station and could not play a game he is paying for. Even if it is unethical, to move him, if the gms have any legal following at all, due to the vagueness of the definition, he should have been moved.
Not saying he was, or was not, just stating definitions and facts to get some critical thinking.

Not really, he could have like, undocked in a shuttle or something, and gotten killed, and come back in 2 years or so if Stain ever opens its borders or goes away or something to get his ship, or he could undock in a shuttle or something, and sell his ship, or .... cheating goddly men

Edited by: dethanor on 23/02/2005 01:58:19 strength in numbers, and while camping a notable villain in a station means we are protecting our comrades from him so they can go about their normal business.
imo this is a valid tactic.
you can undock and face the local justice or stay docked and be afraid.
The only intervention should have been a breakout attempt by the villains friends.
losing a ship and pod is a natural part of the game.
have I wasted somewhere in the region of 12 hours trying to do my assigned duties

Edited by: Threx on 23/02/2005 01:59:34 You Guys really just can't handle your lost time even though imo the station is being ingulfed by an agressive act (mobile warp disruptor) without the station firing this is an abuse of game mechanics

While its probably a fair enough tactic, I feel sorry for the members your forced to do this. This has to be the single most boring thing to do in EvE, more so than SS finding and mining. I was wondering why there was a big blob in 4GQ minutes after DT though. I'm interested to see how long you guys can keep that up. ----------------------------------------- Heinky> Dont mix eve with rl it can be bad for your health |

How do you have a mobile warp disrupter on a station with out it attacking you? Whenever I have tried warp scrambling a station the sentries, opened fire.

He got himself into a whole alliance camping him in so it's his fault that he was camped in.
If he wanted to undock then there was nothing there to stop him from clicking on "undock" and very likely being podded.
Now Emperor can fly back to 4gq laughing at us and keep on with the cheap ganks.
I for one am displeased for the GM's helping this gang of stab*****s keeping on with the login traps. --------------------------------------

Yep, since were on this topic, how about the warp bubble thats enveloping the station?
The station is an NPC station that will fire upon someone who scrambles them with only 1 strength doesnt mind an infinate strength scrambeler? Seems like an exploit to me.

you know if you want to smacktalk the use of stabs why don't you also smack your own use of warp scramblers? They are a valid mod enough of the talk about using them. If ccp didn't want you to use them in battle they would code it in so you couldn't activate offensive modules while you had them fitted.

seriously.....you pirate in a system, but then when the calvery comes.....you hide in the station and petition because they're going to kill you if you undock....if your a PvPer, you should be aware that in some point in time, you are going to loose your ship and pod.

Please stay on topic. There is no need to discuss incidentals or any other things.
LetŠs wait for a statement from ccp.

OK _ THIS IS WHAT WAS SAID TO ME - [ 2005.02.23 00:58:10 ] ArcticWolf > oh im sure the outraged se members will yell in se chat about it once they find out what happened lol [ 2005.02.23 00:58:20 ] EXZODIER > what they done [ 2005.02.23 00:58:45 ] ArcticWolf > well se has had a medium bubble outside the station at the undock point so there is no possible way to warp [ 2005.02.23 00:58:54 ] EXZODIER > yea [ 2005.02.23 00:58:55 ] ArcticWolf > and have had it up with at least 10 ships camping 23/7 the last 3 days [ 2005.02.23 00:59:03 ] EXZODIER > yea [ 2005.02.23 00:59:05 ] ArcticWolf > and emperor USED to be in that station [ 2005.02.23 01:00:17 ] ArcticWolf > but whatever [ 2005.02.23 01:00:28 ] ArcticWolf > now that he is free, we can destroy their bubble
make your own mind up - but the way its made as if he was gona go back suggests that he found a way to convince the GM's that he had a problem outher then the fact we had him camped - perhaps GOD forbid he even lied

However, there is a difference, by the ammount of lag you have managed to generate with everything you have placed outside of the station, you will probably kill before a player even has the chance to load. Which I would consider being 'stuck'. Being that this is infact the situation currently, it is probably the only recourse that the GM's have in order to allow everyone to play the game that they are paying for.
