I'm planning on moving into WHs soon and joining a corp there. I've been told that most pvp happens using HACs and HICs. I've already got amarr cruisers lvl 5 and T2 medium lasers trained. I was wondering if the Amarr HACs are good for small gang pvp? Or should I train something else, like Minmatar?
Thanks for any advice.

For Wormholes the Recons are good for Gangs and Cloaky Gangs along with the Purifier.
The HAC, the Zealot gets a lot of use do to it's High Dmg, Range, RR'able Resists, Fitting, EHP and Speed. It is not a Solo boat and has no Drones or Nuets to defend itself from Frigs. Best to use in Armor Gangs and Small Gangs.
The Sacrilege is nothing to right home about, might as well use a Drake for 60mil less. It has little Range, half a Drone Bay, few Lows for tank and Dmg mix. It has good cap and a big tank thats about it.

Oh yeah, I didn't think about Recons. I actually have that trained to lvl 4. I guess the Curse is a still a good ship in w-space environment?

The Zealot is outstanding. The Sacrilege is penance for the Zealot being so good.

That's a good place to go after Amarr.

Amarr recons are GREAT in w-space, especially the pilgrim, that thing is amazing because it can cloak tackle and neut out those heavily tanked t3's. If you fly Amarr you must absolutely use a recon in w-space.
The Zealot is indeed good, but only in a gang, don't use the sacrilege.

I thought that, most T3s being buffer tanked Tengu's, there's really little point of neuts?

Wormhole tengu's are active tanked otherwise they are remote rep tengu's. Neuting their cap is very important or they will forever tank you.

As well the cloaky+neuts+diction nullified Legion. Sure, I don't have anything silly like guns, but I've got 100k+ EHP, and you're not going anywhere.

I used to think the same but in small gang fights at point range with an Oneiros or a couple of Guardians you can dump the majority of the Sacs tank and fit two BCUs, you still get 500+ DPS and even with most of its tank gone you get better resists than many HACs making the most of the minimal amount of logi support. The huge cap regen means you can perma run either your mwd or a medium neut, both can run a substantial amount of time at the same time. The Sac also has enough mid slots for full tackle and some E-war.
I never really liked the Sac but under those circumstances it definitely has a place, it just lacks the OMFG turret performance of the Zealot but the Sac has its own advantages.
