I seem to remember being able to do this but can't now.
I found the app under my apps in the corp window. Clicking the app only shows me the app and tells me it hasn't been processed yet. Right click only shows me the corp options, showinfo, give money, add contact, etc.
Did something change?

Came here to create this exact same thread. The capability to withdraw an app seems to have been removed. |

This is quite strange, I will have to check it when i get home later. All apps will not be processable if you are given roles if the first corp you are accepted in (any roles whatsoever). Other than that i would petition it, seems like it could be a bug -------------------------------------------------

You double left clicked the application and the context window that showed up had no option to withdraw the application?

Confirmed. There is absolutely no way to retract an application.
HEY CCP, maybe you can drag yourselves away from monocle design for a few minutes to address this issue?

I have reported this over a week ago on the bug report page. To date CCP haven't even acknowledged it even though they have corresponded regarding other bugs/features reported on the same day.
So, I don't know what the situation is; whether CCP are fixing it, have fixed it or just denying that this issue exists.

Here is the reply I got:
Quote: GM Catdog Sent - 8/22/2011 10:34:00 AM Hello there,
Thank you for contacting customer support. I'm afraid that in Incarna a player cannot withdraw his application for a corporation, and he has to wait for the refusal/approval before further action. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards, GM Catdog EVE Online Customer Support

So, this could mean then you're looking for a Corp and apply to join. For some reason they take forever to decide so you apply to join someone else who admits you.
What happens then when the first Corp decides to accept you?

That is ridiculous. I suggest making a thread about this in general discussion where it will get some more attention. This is very abusable as a corp could just accept you months after, just when you're hauling something very expensive, and then gank you. --- Drykor - AHARM |

I just got a reply from my Bug Report.
"We were not aware of this problem, and have used your bugreport to create a new issue in our defect tracking system.
The BugHunter Team"
So, it looks as if it may be fixed.

You'll switch to that corp unless you have any roles, I think.
