Edited by: Rownen Kasozi on 10/07/2011 21:32:27 I see the old topic which mentioned "Learning" Skills, then after reading that I came across the update blog dated in 2010 about how "Learning" skills was getting done away with. so now here is my question....
Is there a way to speed up one's skill's training time? Does the information about Attributes of said toon + skill attribute in question = length of time taken/needed for said skill to train to toon?
Sorry if this is already covered, if it is I overlooked it. I am just attempting to find a more updated guide/knowledge source on skill training times.

It's all still valid, just consider your character having maxed all former Training skills already (if you're reading about 1.2m skillpoints at twice the speed, that's gone too).

Attribute enhancing implants decrease training times as well.

can you give me an example of the time that is subtracted by those implants, for example...
Without a implant I can usually train level four skills from 14+Hours-4 days
with a implant installed, how much do you think the time will be cut down?

OP, definitely take a look at EVEMON. It's a third-party program that aids in both short and long-term skill planning. Additionally, EVEMON allows you to see the difference installing implants will make to your overall training queue.

basically you get SP like this:
(primary attribute + secondary attribute * 0,5) SP/minute
so with a set of +5 implants and min/maxed attributes you will end up at 32 prim and 26 sec.
example perc/will: 32 perc + 26*0,5 will = 45 SP/min = 2700SP/hour = 64800SP/day
with +4 implants it looks like this
31 perc + 25*0,5 will = 43,5 SP/min = 2610 SP/hour = 62640SP/day
over all, a set of +5 will save you ~21hours on a long skill like BS 4 to BS 5.
so to speed up training, you need implants and remapping of attributes. however at the beginning, wherer you will want to train up a lot of different skills with different prim/sec attributes, min/maxing is not recommended.
