Has anyone else started experiencing problems with character customisation? Last week it worked fine, this week it either crashes the client or just presents me with a blank screen and a pair of glowing lines where my character's eyes should be.

I had this problem long before Incarna and it was the subject of a long petition/bug report process that got nowhere.
What I have found is that if you make sure Anti-Aliasing is OFF when you the enter the CC, it seems to work more reliably.

Happened again tonight. I've captured the error trace so I'll attach it to a petition and see if I get any results. I'm totally unable to use customization now on both my accounts.

I don't run with Anti-Aliasing on at all anyway. As standard I have all the other graphic options set to high, and the game runs smooth as silk, even in CQ. It's just guaranteed to crash as soon as I try toi use customisation, and has the occasional random crash in flight.
From the last error dump after the crash it seems to be an issue in Cider. I've tried raising a petition, but it seems to have just disappeared...

Hi.
Could you send us the following information so we can be of further assistance.
1) Select "About This Mac" from the Apple Menu (The picture of the Apple on the System Menubar) 2) Click the "More Info..." button on the "About This Mac" dialog that appears. 3) Select "Save" from the System Profiler File menu 4) Save to a file on your Desktop in "Rich Text Format (RTF)" format and in System Profiler 4.0 (XML)" fromat. 5) By default this creates a file named .rtf and .spx
So I sent back "Sorry, forgot to mention I'm running the Mac client, and the same GM sent this:

Hi,
Thank you for contacting customer support.
In order to try solve this problem we will need some information about your computer using the DXDIAG Windows diagnostic utility. The information in this utility can be very helpful when troubleshooting technical issues with EVE Online.
1. Use the keyboard shortcut "Windows Key + R" to open the Run window. 2. Type DXDIAG in the "Open:" field and hit Enter. When you do this, a window will pop up. 3. Click the "Save All Information" button that's located in its lower right corner. 4. Could you then please upload the files by login into http://support.eveonline.com/Pages/Petitions/MyPetitions.aspx and locating this petition from there, or attach it in your e-mail response to this petition.
About this point I gave up....

I've had a followup answer, which is to go into the app folders and reset my cache files (effectively reverting everything to default settings), as there may be a lingering corruption in my cache... Ho-hum. I'll try this tonight and post back the results, but I'm not holding my breath :(
