I'm considering my future in EVE and wormhole figure strongly into what i'd like to try at some point. I'm far too low on the sp totem pole at this juncture to just dive in, but I would like to get a feel for appropriate skills, experience, etc. that active wormhole corporations and alliances are looking for in a recruit to ease my transition later on down the road. I have read some w-space guides and roughly familiarized myself with the processes of scanning, clearing sites, pos related issues, and just want the corp particulars to compare notes with.
So, if you happen to be in a friendly mood or just want the chance to make a good impression on a future recruit, drop me a line in-game or post a bit here. I would love to hear what experienced players have to say on the topic.
Thanks

Hi m8,
Train as much as you can in the direction of these ships : - Tengu - Basilic - Cov Op with additional scanning skills (they are essential in order to get out of there on your own) - Some DPS battleship. There are ops being performed using armor, but i would recommend to train for shield skills. This having been said ... wouldn't it be better to not post these kind of question in the recruitment forum ? cheers, V/S

A good start, thanks.

I hadn't considered that much. I've spent some time in the new player forum and while it is helpful to a degree, they don't often have specialized advice. I figured it would be most beneficial to get the answers here from the corps themselves. If nothing else I supposes it shows my initiative.
At any rate, i'm not exactly sure what I have to loose in asking here, but if there is a more appropriate forum then the moderators should feel free to move my thread.

Vortex pretty much covered it.
Aim to pilot a Tengu with good support skills and a cov ops of your choice, that should open most WH corp doors for you
Even if you dont mine rocks, you'll want gas cloud harvesting V so you can suck clouds using 5 x T2 harvestors, otherwise you'll miss out on making lots of isk from selling gas
