CCP, how can you stab your two biggest fanbois, Jayne & Jade, in the back like that?
They stood by you throughout this whole ordeal. Lapped up and regurgitated your spin like the most loyal of lapdogs and this is how you reward them? Now Jade will have to spend even more time away from his 5 young children to pay for all the ships he loses. Think of the children, CCP. THINK OF THE CHILDREN.
"CCP talked about removing ABC (Arkonor, Bistot and Crokite) mining sites from wormhole space at some point in the future. This may be from all wormholes, or possibly from lower class wormholes only. It was claimed by some members of the CSM that a large fraction of the high end ore supply is produced through these sites, however the CSMs who were active in wormholes would not accept this claim without hard data to back it up."
And those drunken shills and sycophants on the CSM just egged them on. Further proof that they don't represent the players at all, they represent their alliances' interests. Period.
"Based on comments by CCP Greyscale in a previous session, the subject of removing "ABC" minerals from wormholes was raised by nullsec-resident CSMs, who were surprised to learn that WH space was nullsec and that ABC minerals were available in them. They favored entirely removing ABC from WH space -- or limiting them to C5 and C6 holes -- but the two wormhole-resident CSMs objected strongly, pointing out that exporting minerals from deep wormhole space was difficult, and much of it was likely consumed locally."

Edited by: Neuralyzer on 13/07/2011 22:19:03 Personally, I think its ridiculous that wormholes have the best rats. We should move sleepers to nullsec space and just install crappy agents in WHs since they're overly secure, and don't require the massive military might to hold like nullsec does. In fact, nullsec should be the only area that has any way to make money. L4s should be removed, WHs closed, and only Omber will be left to mine in high/low/WH space.

There is apparently good money in RMT, can you really blame them?

Why? Makes perfect sense to scale rewards by the risk involved.
Best rewards in w-space, second best rewards in lowsec space, third best in nullsec space , with hisec following closely behind nullsec given that the risk involved is almost the same.

GTFO you stupid ****.
WH's are dangerous and deserve the best and most rarest of raw materials. this is the only avenue in the game that is worth playing and whilst you CSMs are so blind to see that - need i remind you that null sec has a huge chain of passive isk.
leave the ****ing thing alone there is no need to do anything with it.

Edited by: Mrs Pwnage on 13/07/2011 22:25:06 Wormholes are already losing their appeal; if it keeps up they will be just like nullsec, no one but POS tenders in 90% of it.
I blame adding probes to overview so it is easier to see them in space where you are not supposed to know someone is there. It broke the dynamics, and the thrill that you could get jumped at any moment to where it is almost completely safe. Just spam the scan button and run away the second you see probes.
Nullsec alliances need to start using them more too, instead of just freaking out and collapsing the hole once it spawns in fear someone will bring some GF's.

Not sure how many people mine in w-space, but, given how rarely we come across them, I think it is rather few. If you are searching for a location to blame an excess of high-end minerals on, check the upper-right-hand corner of the map.

I came across an orca and 3x hulks jumping in a WH yesterday. Killed a bunch of cruisers and BS with mining crap fitted at a dead POS about two weeks ago; they do it. It's like everything else in WH's, catching them in the act is the problem.

Confirming wormholes are completely safe and miners are never killed inside. All miners and ratters welcome!
Little known facts about wormholes:
* Interdiction spheres do not work in wormholes.
* D-scan is buggy in wormholes and sometimes lists ships like "Onyx" mistakenly. It is safe to ignore these.
* ALL WH corps follow NRDS ALWAYS.

remember: "we have enough stupid custumers to sell them golden Scorps for $10.000,-"
Are YOU such a "stupid custumer"? I am not! I would have the money .. but noone will get money who call me "stupid custumer"!
And this CSM want to nerv everything outside their private RMT-space.
I bet this RMTs allready bought 51% of CCP and manipulate the content as they wish.

Personally, I don't care about WH space much. Been in there for quick ratting dives, lived in one for a few weeks, and occasionally dive in for some pew pew to harass locals. But removing the ABCs is a horrible idea. This is another example of CCP not understanding how their game is played in any appreciable manner.
The logistics of exporting ores from deep WHs is pretty complicated and time consuming. Other than the odd high sec miners here and there that will grab a few hauler loads of arkonor out of a low class WH before it collapses, anyone who spends any time mining in a WH uses it locally for T3 production, and not for export for the general market. I find that for the most part (at least the other players I know), the quick mining dives in WHs net them a bit of megacyte for their own production lines that they would otherwise have to buy on the market. Even if they sell it, it's hardly a quantity that affects the market in any appreciable manner.
Personally, I think WHs are fine the way they are. They have a good risk / reward ratio. Quick dives can make good money, but at potentially high risk. Living in one can make tons of isk, but the risk factor is increased signficantly as well. ------------------

Doubtful. Orcas are not something that you casually take into wormholes to mine with. Orcas you see in holes are there to provide bonuses to mining ops from within the relative safety of pos shields, or to haul large amounts of goods in our out (pos's, arrays, etc.). You can scan an orca nearly instantly with probes, then it's munching time.
We've, without exaggerating, never had anyone come in and try to mine a grav site. First, they'd have to find one. Then they'd have to deal with the Sleeper rats. Then they'd have to mine without someone making their ships go Boom.
Let's say you did see that... it would be exceedingly rare, and stupid.

We have had some really bored people mine in our alliance, but it is very rare. If they are worried about it being too safe, limit C1's to small poses and c2-4 to medium poses. Not too sure what to do about caps in C1-C4 though. A lot of the time the pilots screw up and provide great killmails though.
+1 use for orca, collapsing wormholes

this is nothing more than trying to defuse the competition.
Until some nerd comes up with some real figures on how much ABC ores mined in wh's and then sold on market then gtfo.
Its bull**** that everything about the game is going backwards atm - they pretty much declared dominion a failure with the last major patch, when are you going to learn that risk versus reward needs to be taken into account, if you want to really solve everyones issue at the mo sort out the rmt and macro issue. I've come across 10 systems tonight all with havens and hubs and sanctums that are being ratted by 2 tengus at an average 10 rats per minute kill - pfffft thats the real ****ing issue. stop breaking what is working.

most of the time they only have 1-2 entrances per day, so easy to watch and defend.
You cant put super caps in them. You can farm all of your pi in them with 0.0 resource nodes. you dont have local. most of the time they are quiet. no real drama.

And then you miss that new incoming wormhole which the party on the other side knew of cause the killed their old one. So by the time you realize there is a new hole off scan there may already be ships 10km away sneaking up on you.

While I agree with the overall sentiment, given that exporting ore out of wh's is extremely difficult compared to null and refining it doesn't yield 100% with a POS, the style of your post is nothing short of insulting. I have bolded the part of your post that quite frankly, you should edit out, or at the very least apologize for writing. EVE is a game, and for you to blame CCP for ****ing over peoples lives is just pure asshattery.
