Edited by: Levija Saplina on 18/07/2011 08:11:24 I will take 5 shares, against holding the Orca as collateral (or if you wish to use a 3rd party, but considering an Orca is worth less than 500 mil on the markets right now, it should be acceptable).
If these terms are acceptable, you can contract it to me vs 500 mil and as soon as contract is accepted, you can send me the 5 shares.

Where is this collateral located? And why not sell it? Surely the dark glitter should be in excess of half a bill, the orca and assorted loot making up another half bill.
On the other hand, wouldn't an orca come in handy in expanding mining capabilities?
And noticing you sold 2 hulks and an orca (all fitted) four months ago - why the change of heart?
(didn't mean for the above to sound quite so accusatory as it comes across, just straight questions I haven't phrased terribly well)

collateral located in 0.0 station with access, i do not wish to sell the items as they are goin to be use as a future progect....
the two hulks and orca i sold in highsec, i re-brought from my alliance so i could move to my new home in 0.0 a lot easyer and no loss.

I'll take whatever is left(I think it's 15 shares), pending confirmation by third party that they're holding collateral. --------------------------------- Pillage, then burn. Everything is air-droppable at least once. There is no 'overkill.' There is only 'open fire' and 'time to reload.

Edited by: AtheistOfFail on 19/07/2011 00:38:24 AtheistOfFail Third Party services has been contacted and is currently holding collateral for this bond including one Orca-class command ship with rigs (which we have price at 440m ISK) and 2.5k Dark Glitter ice (which we have priced at 720m ISK @ 360k each).
The total collateral is 1.16b ISK or 116% of the 1b ISK that the bond issuer wants collaterized. The remaining 1b ISK of the loan is uncollaterized.
Quick Edit: It's not a lottery, it's a bond. My day job is showing. Quick Edit 2: Collateral is in a sov system which bond issuer has assured me is open to the public.

Hang on - so the collateral is not to cover every investor for 50% of their loan but half the investors 100% and the other half zero? Why would anyone want the uncollaterised side?
And hang on part deux, an altogether more important hang on, in the event of a scam/fail/bus/burnout and the collateral needs to be liquidated to repay investors who will be taking the responsibility of sending a jump freighter into hostile nullsec to retrieve the collateral to sell it? Would it be you Atheist? Or would you have to firesale the stock in situ, in which case the valuation would be considerably less than empire market prices.
I have to say that *personally* I tend to value collateral in nullsec (particularly bulky stuff that can't be tengu'd / blockade runnered) at zero value for the very reason that the hassle and risk in trying to get it out is far greater than the value of the goods in the first place.

People probably assumed that the collateral would be split evenly among all investors, instead of some being fully "insured" and the rest left out to dry. --------------------------------------- Tigerras's Audits and Third-Party Servicing |

Aetheist's post is implying that rather than having around 50% collateral which would be evenly liquidated across all investors around half the investors would get 100% return with the other half getting zero. Whether that was your intent or the wording of your collateral holder is really up for the two of you to clarify.
And we still really need to cover what happens if you do scam/fail/burnout/bus - will Atheist be heading deep into Cobalt Edge to retrieve that collateral and sell in empire market hubs or will he be trying to sell it in situ?

You know, that story is getting a little old. It was 3 loans, 125m ISK, 150m ISK and i believe 25m ISK if I don't forget it. The reasons are my own.
BTW, I've been securing lotteries in Sell Orders for over a year with a combined amount in excess of 41b ISK total and I believe 17b ISK as the highest amount held at one time. In other words, my loans I generally ask for are only related to my 3rd Party status in the fact that I dislike using money being held for collateral for personal use.
I have contracted all items back to BlackKnight Investments. This bond is now completely uncollaterized.
