To who it might concern.
Today, around 03:30 am EVE I have taken the decision to resign as Lead of The EC Committee on the Arek'Jalaan Project conducted by Dr Hilen Tukoss. After a private conversation which us both agreed to remain private and just a few minutes after my departure several comms around the cluster started to sprout a huge amount of rumors and nonsense regarding this decision spoken by unrelated third parties.
Afer a short sleep, I return to my comms to find several declarations of War made my Sani Sabik and Associates against alliances and corporation members of the Arek'jalaan Project with the justification varying from indignation, rage, or simply that my departure would give them the Green light to finally strike it.
So let me make a few things clear at this point:
1- From my private conversation with Dr Tukoss, I'll do what I was asked in trust and place on my public announcement this:
[ 2011.07.18 03:45:38 ] Hilen Tukoss > I trust, in your explanations of this, that you will explain you did this of your own free will. [ 2011.07.18 03:45:45 ] Hilen Tukoss > I do not wish you to leave the Arek'Jaalan project.
There were no forced removalas some of the false rumors sprout by those who wishes the project to fail seem to imply with public declarations like this:
[ 2011.07.18 04:13:03 ] Raze Valadeus > Knowing Madame Neferis, I am quite sure she is covering for being forcibly removed by "stepping down."
2- I ask the Alliances and Corporations of Sani Sabik, friends, allied and associates which issued wars against Arek'Jalaan other members alliances and corporations involved to contact me regarding this decision. By stepping down the EC committee I have not given you green card to war. Withdraw your war decs and Ill cover your concord fees. Arek'Jalaan is not Hostile to me until I say so.
3- My involvement with the Project is still ongoing, Dr Tukoss and I have discussed a few points to which we have yet to conclude. I ask you all some patience, when I have a formal statement to do regarding this conclusion, I'll make it public.
Any doubts feel free to contact me but do not spam my comms systems. I'm busy capsuleer and will not entertain private requests which were already explained here or which are still under negociations.
I hope this clarifies for now.

You know, I'm personally shocked that you would willingly do this. It doesn't seem like your type of thing.
Though, on the other hand, if you did, thank you for understanding the importance of doing so for the integrity of the Ethics Committee. --

In fact, it is. Specially when it makes sense to me in view of something more profitable.

The Integrity of the EC is no different because of my decision. Make no mistake about that. And you're welcome.

Not really surprised that you missed the point and resorted to the new ghetto loyalist way to use IGS communications. But you served me nonetheless with your first question and I'm sure that the more refined intellects did receive the message as I intended. So for that, your contribution is still worth.

I'm sorry to see this. The document produced by the ethics committee was professional, and all members of the team deserve praise for their efforts. There is clearly confusion over the difference between professional ethics and morality by laypersons, and accommodating a lack of education does not strike me as a promising development for a scientific undertaking.

I have produced the document posted for public perusal as the very basic guidelines to start, it was indeed agreed upon and approved by Dr Tukoss therefore it remains there even after my leave. However I do have confidence that whoever takes the lead from now on will continue to do the work with the same professionalism.
Now, what you speak of is correct, there is indeed a few blurred lines being set between the meaning of professional Ethics x Morality and such things can cause a dangerous precedent to the future sucess of such joint venture. Something that Dr Tukoss will hav to deal with sonner than later I suspect. Time will tell.

Being ruthless in bussiness doesn't mean one lacks ethics.
Some people do seem to be confused in that regard. Those in general degrade to streetgutter talks and meaningless insults which serve them in no way and only weaken their point.
Those who feel the need to drop to a lingo which serves the underbelly of society only prove their intellect is insufficient to do a propper rebottle and are deluded enough to think their namecalling actually brings them other supporters than those who can barely tie their shoelaces.
I am glad the Sovereign took her time to clarify her position in this matter. It doesn't matter if you like her or not or if you like her ways to deal with others or bussiness or not. Atleast she doesn't hide behind a mask. Also whatever happens she remains a Lady and replies in a tone a civilised person can grasp without distorting to street jibberjabber.

Lady, I know of many Blood Raiders who would fit this statement indeed. This said, it's very sad in a way that Profesisonal Ethics are confuised with Morals and Values. Such distinguished concepts and yet used by the uneducated as base of arguments. No wonder why the "criminal" organizations nowadays serves as home to many of the most trusted and brilliant minds of our capsuleer society and people don't stop to think how it came to that. It's simple: Because we understand what Professional Ethics is and we do apply it with extreme efficiency.

It is good that my statement was proven to be incorrect, it was indeed made with malice and in ignorance of the entire situation. It is good to see that I was wrong in this regard.

Whether or not that is the case, the perception has been, is and would be that Pilot Neferis is singularly unsuitable to the role not just on account of the... incompatibility between her personal ethics and that of many of the rest of us, but also politically.
Recent events demonstrate clearly enough that the project is in a rather more precarious political position than might be desired. It's important in times like these to be non-controversial.
I think we can all imagine that the Republic would be unlikely to feel many warm thoughts about Pilot Neferis occupying the position she appointed herself to. It's politically expedient, therefore, that she step down, and I am definitely pleased that she has chosen to do so. -

Careful. Considering Dr Tukoss himself current situation and political mess, It could be a very delicate thing to imply that maybe Arek'Jalaan could do with a less controversial leader at this point.

Arek'Jalaan project is apolitical therefore politics were not the reason of my resignation. The current leader of the EC is a Cartel member so you again, should be careful into transforming this Project into a faction witch hunt where no one would be suitable to occupy positions needed for the project to move forward. Doing so it's like opening what was once refered to a pandora box.

On our last exchange of words, Mr Kuvakei said to me "paint the stars crimson m'dear". A very charming man, I must admit.
Although, I'm afraid that I don't admire him more than others involved in this Project too, Sansha Loyalists even involved as Leaders of security for example and contributors of several departments including... EC as well. As you can see, it's a very eccletic and interesting Project Mr with many potentials.

You are correct. For what is worth, I have received a spamm of messages asking me to reconsider my resignation and return to lead of EC, which is something I won't do. As already stated by someone else here, I'm bound by my Word alone, been like this for several years and will continue to be so. I am however, as explained before, considering other options with Dr Tukoss and I hope that the conclusion of this case will at least close the box once again for the progress of the Project.

I have little interest in a defecting doctor who apparently loves the Minmatar people. Still as Dr. Tukoss has commented about open communication I'd like to see him exercise that value which he claims to hold so dear by confirming the statements of Ms. Neferis. Having the Dr. comment on the EC and it's official standing within the Arek'Jalaan project would clear up the questions many apparently have about it's credibility. Finally as Ms. Neferis has claimed to have created a document with Dr. Tukoss's approval it would be helpful if the Dr. confirmed this as such a confirmation would bestow upon the document credibility it clearly doesn't have now. So many things asserted by someone with such a dodgy past, known for attention seeking behavior and grandiose delusions, obviously people here have questions.
Indeed the words of Dr. Tukoss... spoken here by himself... well they would certainly put an end to the doubts so many appear to have.
