Im curious, often really weird "features" slip through to production, and im wondering if anyone knows how the QA process is at CCP?
Examples:
- The station environment that suddenly lost 3 important features (double click background, drag ship to back ground and show active ship on background image).
- The weird unexpected behaviour of shortcut keys that makes you shoot random stuff.
These are features that I know lots of ppl noticed where missing/broken about 1 minute after patching, so i wonder how QA works?

Edited by: Not-Apsalar on 19/07/2011 14:37:24 Take 10 people, have them test changes and do other standard QA things, and then throw the patch out to 50000 people and you'll see bugs appear. Happens in every program from every developer no matter if it's spreadsheets in space or just plain old spreadsheets

True there will be bugs, but the post-release rate of bugs and the severity of same are way above the norm for the industry. Dev fail and QA fail.

Those are not bugs. They are idiotic mistakes, but they were intentional.
