Just to warn anyone thinking of buying anything anytime soon from the NEX store, id wait if i where you, i "STUPIDLY" bought a few items from the store, only to see that a couple of days later, the price dropped!
Woman's "Sterling"Dress Blouse (Platinum) Oringinaly priced at 3.600 AUR....now 2.900 AUR Woman's "Impress" Skirt (Gray) Oringinaly priced at 3.600AUR...now 3.500 AUR
not a "HUGE" price change, but money is money,
I then Petitioned this and asked what was going on and would we recieve a refund for this only to be told that prices are subject to change whenever they feel its right to do so, so be warned shoppers, buy an item at 3.500 AUR (20Ç) and a day later they can cut the price to whatever they like, thus you being the loser in the situation.
Its pretty safe to say that im done with the NEX store lol, i wont be buying anything else from here on out, talk about biting the hand that feeds you CCP!

if you have enough RL cash or ingame isk to convert to plex to convert ao aur to buy a skirt in a game that does nothing, then you have enough to swallow the loss.
Also, this happens in RL stores ALL the time.

Edited by: Jashmyne on 20/07/2011 12:17:27 So if you go to a store, let's say a electronics store and buy a TV and the next day the store lower the price of said TV by 50%, are you entitled to a refund just because you bought the TV at the wrong time ? No, you are not. Prices are subject to change in almost every store or method of commerce. Even in-game stores this is common as games got various sales and discount on items. So it's a prime example of tough luck.

Actually, many stores that I shop at offer a price guarantee for anywhere between two weeks to a month. If I purchase a product and then see that product go on sale within the price guarantee period, I can return to the store for the difference.
It's not an uncommon practice to retain customer loyalty.

Edited by: Raid''En on 20/07/2011 12:21:48 was about to call bull**** but just checked my old screenshot of monocle days and it's true prices have changed.
items who cost a bit more than a plex got cut to be less or egal to one. it's a marketing change as lots of people talked about the need to buy 2 plex cause of this.
but won't change much things... monocle is still 12 000 and will never change. only changes are for items who costed like 3600-3900 AUR -> they are now at 3500 max. the dress at 4400 is still at 4400.
given what they have changed, i would say they will never do it again. it's only a small pricing correction for "medium priced" items

Ohhh dude never say never LOL! as they said, prices are subject to change and i dont see why Monocles should be exempt from that!
And i also dont get how they can justify charhing 4.400AUR for Woman's "Sterling"Dress Blouse (NAVY) when they released the (Platinum) version for 3.600AUR, does navy fabric cost more to produce in eve when the clothing design is exactly the same as the platinum version? lol, CON!!!!!

Wait! Now I'm going to "discount" it. *chuckle* It only costs $60 this week. So, it's got to be a really good deal now! LMFAO!

i remember it was common on old games i played that items was at different price depending on the color, as they were using color as different models of items for differents stats. it was also obvious here it happened the second i saw the 5 colors on singularity. the only question is to know if the next colors will be cheaper or more expensive ? i agree it's silly however :p moreover given on these nex blog we saw they had different quality of clothes ; if you didn't looked at singularity you may have not realized, as what we saw on the picture was from sisi, but on it we can saw singularity clothes on middle, ans before a poor clothe, and at right something more noble... meaning they do have the models to be coherent on different price range

Conversely, if you buy an item and the price later rises, is the merchant entitled to more money?
