Exactly 50 days ago, Progressive State and the Caldari Colonial Defense Ministry officially began a new operation to gain full military occupation of the Esesier system.
At approximately 20:45 this evening the Federation lost their hold and the system was fully occupied by State forces.
The last 50 days has seen numerous losses on both sides and the Federations most reputable Generals were making strong attempts to remove our presence from the system. However, due to the joint efforts of Progressive State, Caldari Colonial Defense Ministry, Four Horsemen and individuals such as General Rocarion and General Squatdog, their attempts were not enough. The bunker was captured with no resistance offered by the Federation and as a result there were no friendly losses. This latest success, coupled with the recent capture of Harroule, will reinforce State Protectorate forces across the Placid region.
The Caldari war machine will not relent. "I am the Alpha and the Omega" |

CCP, please fix faction warfare so the forums aren't cluttered up with poorly written in-character explanations about things that actually don't matter in-game. Give us a reason in-game to care about plexes, PLEASE.
That is all.

And please, no resistance? We've been resisting you for the whole duration, if we did not, it would not take 50 days. You killed my Vigilant-class cruiser, remember?
Question for you. Why are you targeting a backwater system on the periphery instead of a system with high strategic value? Do you not wish to engage the bulk of FDU forces? Would you rather shoot non-capsuleer vessels of the Federation Navy then ships that will provide an decent fight back?
Let's not forget that Caldari cowardice in the initial attempt to take Harroule involved your entire fleet podding out of the system.

Intaki is back-water now? And Amevync borders Black Rise which is definetely front line for us. Esesier just happened to fall first but i'm sure we eventually have Aldranette too.

As much as I detest arguing over semantics, I will repeat my myself for your benefit Inhores. The bunker was captured with no resistance. I believe I acknowledged that we suffered losses to the Federation.
I would be interested in seeing evidence of myself leaving the field in Harroule in a pod... In fact, I used the exact same hull in Esesier this evening.
Also, the word Geminus was extracted from an ancient text written in a language no longer spoken. It is known as 'Latin' if you wish to research the subject any further. "I am the Alpha and the Omega" |

I consider Esesier to be of plenty of strategic value to Lai Dai Corporation.

Progressive State and the Caldari Colonial Defense Ministry have my thanks for their efforts in providing the Lai Dai Corporation with the opportunity to grow the return on its investment in the system's development.

The caldari podded out of the Amevync constellation as well to get a proper fleet composition to engage the "bulk" once the second system was secure. Outrage ensued in local channels when FDU forces realized they were not able to restrict State Pro movement or engage a smaller sized fleet on the FDU's terms. We went to the federations staging system in Heyd once we had reshipped, outnumbered, but no efforts on behalf of the FDU to engage this fleet were made for well over an hour. Slinging insults of "cowardice" coming from such individuals are not taken seriously but rather laughed at. I mean really, 40v20 and the FDU could not bring a fight in their home system?

I did not say that Lai Dai was moving in immediately, just that the opportunity is being presented.

Although Operation Geminus was originally started by Progressive State and Caldari Colonial Defense Ministry, the victory should be celebrated throughout the militia. Thanks to the help of numerous supporters -- the State has conquered Esesier, and the Caldari war machine can continue on to the next system. Caldari Colonial Defense Ministry will now be sending armed convoys into Esesier and assisting in the creation of new colonies throughout the system; ensuring that the StateÆs interests are protected.

I'd put forward that the CONCORD Emergency War Powers Act gives occupying powers the provision to treat the territories they are permitted to control to do with as they will so long as it does not break the terms of the treaty.
Besides it's an armed conflict, a regulated and controlled conflict by the CONCORD Assembly, but an armed conflict nonetheless. Since it is clear that the war by proxy that CONCORD now manages will not end in the near future then it would be a sound strategic decision to form long term plans with that in mind. Colonial ventures would be just one long term plan.
Unfortunate though that unlike the State it appears the Gallente Federation can still only fight wars armed only with moral outrage from the safety of public relations offices. |

I can assure you that all citizens settled in pre-existing colonies have nothing to fear. The people of Eseiser will come to learn that the fearful stories of the honorable State were falsely implemented in their mind by the Federation. No longer will they need to worry about their voice falling upon deaf ears in the Senate. They now have the chance to build the future they have always desired and embrace the traditions of the Caldari State.

Perhaps, it's an attempt to encourage FDU fleet forces engage targets a bit further away than their current maximum of two jumps away from Heydieles. I understand fuel prices are high these days, but it does get a little old having to always come to Abune or Heyd to get a fight out of you guys.

The man you desperately hate, Tibus Heth, has pushed for reform in the ruthless, hypercapitalistic State of a few years ago. The Caldari people demanded reforms and its corporations were forced to listen. Those who work hard are rewarded and advance again and programs are underway to help direct the energies and talents of those who are struggling to find their place.
Yes, it is true, the State does not save those unwilling to work for themselves, but I will hazard those who inhabit Placid's frontier are not unfamiliar with an honest day's hard work.

When did all of Placid become filled with Intaki?
Other than perhaps early colonist on Esesier VIII, Ducia Foundry, Lumanaire Bank, and the Federal Defense Union appear to be the "locals." And that easily makes 1/3 of the locals who may prefer State (and Lai Dai) administration over Federal regulation.

I'd say we were pretty much welcomed with open arms, between the complete lack of a FDU response fleet in Esesier during the takedown of the control bunker and recent rebel activity.

You are not local. You are capsuleer of enemy fleet, who didn't respond to fight for 'your' system, for whom you try to speak.
So stick your own gallente propaganda to <censored> and let people of Esesier enjoy efficient managamenet. Thanks in advance! --- We live and die for the State |
