Hey there. I'm currently manufacturing some small T2 modules and selling them in the Bulk Trade mailing list in a regular interval and with a good profit. But I'm stuck at producing 100 modules/1.5 day. I was thinking in starting another account but I can't afford a Plex with this current bottleneck (since producing T2 modules needs a lot of skills and I need to pay the POS bills). So how do you guys make more profit even with only 10~11 slots? Am I doing something wrong? Is worth to stop training my main to train Industry, PE, Science and another skills in two other alts to have more production slots?

It's worth training all characters on the same account each for 10 slots. By the time you have 30 slots in production, you should be able to afford an extra PLEX per month to start a second account. And by the time the second account begins to fill, you can afford another PLEX, etc
If you don't mind to spend a little real money, wait till CCP announces a buddy-program again, and use that to cheaply start a second account.

By producing big ticket items instead of t2 items. How many million are you making per day? . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.

I have alt army trained up. I have my main inventor that does the high skill aspects, with lower skilled alts manufacturing lots of the t2 component parts, as the skills for those are much more reasonable to train.

Not much, something around 24mi/day without the POS fuel. I guess that with the POS fuel it drops to 19mi/day. Edit: the problem is that I spend something like this everyday trying to learn PVP.

Are you suggesting other characters on the same account can concurrently do, say, material research in slots?? (if they've trained for it, of course). That would be like ghost-training.

Yes they can, and can run manufacturing as well. You have 3 char slots use them, and ghost training was for accounts that wasnt active, you are paying for your 3 slots with your account :)

I'm going to use this, for sure. :) Thanks.
Still feels like an exploit somehow, though.

I use 3 accounts for S&I - R&D
2 toons for invention on seperate accounts skills 4/4/4 4 Toons for copying 1 toon for new bpo research me/pe and spare copying if need be.
2 of the above alts are used for capital production with another 5 toons which build T2 mods/ammo/ships.
Still got a bottle neck... not making enough isk, gotta break the 8 billion a month barrier more alts/on a 4th account another friggin large faction pos to run in the pipe line
Oh ya forgot, 3 of the alts run Pi for pos fuel

1. Use the buddy program, 54 days is just enough to train T2 production skills and PE5, after finishing the training, transfer char to an account of your liking. 2. Do other stuff to maximize income, Datacores, PI, but mainly ofcourse more manufacturing.

Still mind-boggling to me. :) So, you people basically just halt the training of your main for a few months, to train another toon on the same account for research? Wow, that's quite an investment in time, really, as those toons need perfect manufacturing skills too, like the main.

Is that not against the EULA? I'd like to do that, but not going to risk my acount, of course. If it's allowed, then kudos on the good advice! :)

If its a high sec POS I would suggest at looking into one big ticket item everyday. You could easily double your profit.
The thing about the big items is you cant mass produce them and profit. If you saturate a market you'll be wasting your time. . Adapt and overcome or become a monkey on an evolution poster.

Thanks for the tips. I guess that I'll stop training my main and will train up two alts for the T2 Production. But may I ask, what do you mean by "big ticket items"? Also, my POS is in high sec if it helps.

High value, high profit 'item'. Most likely with low daily volume so it's no use mass producing them anyway. If you sell 1 or 2 that's your POS fuel for the month.

If it results in another paying account (via PLEX or credit card doesn't matter), CCP doesn't care what you use the buddy program for. The only thing that the buddy program is not allowed to be used for is character harvesting, IIRC. ----------

Truly the finding "angles" is really part of the complexity of the game that makes it interesting.
As for the buddy account, I'm a sentimentalist I've found and I can't part with chracters even after a tiny bit of training (2 million sp).
I can't find a way to sell characters I've bought at a profit even if I hardly use them.
I start a new account as a "temporary" one and 6 months later I'm still using plex to keep it active. Sure, I'm not forkiing over more $ but I certainly am a plex sink (I have 5 accounts and I almost considered a 6th even though I"m in a "try-other-games-mode" out of some loss of faith in the direction and priorities of the game. (the trying other games part hasn't completely quelled my Eve interest)

Could always create another account, train it up than transfer it over when it's done training so you can keep training up your main. You get stuck with an additional $20-25 fee don't remember exactly for the transfer. But depending on what your currently trying to skill up, it may be worth it if you can make more profit. As 1month = $20 = 360-380mil isk. If you use the buddy program, and than keep the account active for a few months to skill train you can probably get majority of the skills you want up to what you need them to be. And probably have them supplement themselves with the increased production. And when the skill training is done, just transfer them over to your main account so you only have 1 account to keep active.
I myself have been kicking around this idea, but I also am wondering if I really want to do the whole industrial thing.
