Hi
I've been away from EVE for a few years and need help on choosing a ship to aim for.. I currently fly a Drake (I'm Caldari) and would like to head to something more advanced. My interests are in combat. I'd like to be self sufficiant (not confined to a support role) Stealth interests me a lot as well but I'm not sure if that is a good choice in terms of a pure combat view.. And something agile, I have no great interest in flying a slow hulking ship,...Just yet... I don't think..
Thanks for any advice Z

Train for one of the strategic cruisers...throw them all into evemon and see which you're closest to.

I looked at the Tengu.. It might just be my lack of knowledge but it says the Tengu has no slots.. at all.. What do I fight with?

The Tengu, as every T3 Ship is a Modular one. You have to train every single module of the Ship separately for increasing effectiveness and you can fit a lot of different fits on it; such as:
- Logistic - Stealth - Combat on Hybrid weapons - Combat on Missile Weapons (does more EFT dps) - ECM (with bonuses) - different Propulsion modules, one of which makes you immune against warp disruption bubbles - different Sensor modules, some of which enable you to effectively scan things with probes

You might also want to look at how much it would cost to assemble and fully fit a decent one Hint : around half a bil ISK minimum. _

Just make sure you have experience and knowledge before using an expensive ship. You're much better off losing 100 cheap frigs in pvp than losing 1 tengu both cost wise as when it comes to what you've learned from it.
