Come on guys, ease up. So he's a WoW player, that got banned for arranging some event for the community.
I hate WoW, but I won't hate a WoW player if he loves the game. If you do, that's like hating Chribba for giving his love for Eve.

Sure hating on someone for liking a game is kinda sad but the guy nearly filling up, on YouTube is kinda hilarious.

Swifty is generally pretty chill. He gives gaming equipment away in his videos to random people, is pretty brilliant at a game he enjoys to a level that has made him famous among a community of ~10m players. Even people on EU servers know who Swifty is. The ban was just Blizzard finding someone to blame for the event which was hosted by an entire guild of people, as the crash happened while he was hosting the Justin TV stream. (Incidentally, while he was instructing people not to crash the server.)
And don't lie. Anyone who had invested as much as Swifty has into warcraft into Eve instead and got banned would probably end up at least slightly emotional as well. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Hi Neo if you would have read the title the point is rather that Blizz decided to ban him for accidentally the server.
Also I don't hate on him for hosting events for the community, but rather the fact that he made a sob video on youtube about it. |

There's **** all wrong with WoW. There's just a lot of people especially in Eve who believe that because it is not their type of game where they get to debauch in destroying everything, it must suck.
But hey, that's what you get when Eve is a game that promotes skullduggery, whereas Warcraft simply promotes cooperation. It's your choice which one you enjoy, but it certainly isn't your choice which one I enjoy more. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Swifty is a nice guy, who happens to love the game he plays. Hell it's his job to play(sponsors). He has gathered such a crowd, brought so many people to the game. Was going to come in here and lol at some guy crying about his wow account getting banned. He didnt look like he was going to cry, so I started watching some of his other videos so I could laugh at him... And hes anything but a douche. As a matter of fact hes seems pretty fuking cool.
He has some fans of his videos show up at his house in the middle of the night (or evening), and whats he do? (me I'd threaten to hit them upside the head with a brick). Him, nope, hes totally cool with it, invites them in, shows them his gaming setup (which is sweet), shoots the **** with them and then gives them free ****. ---> foarreel?
So I watch a few videos, and in the 4 or 5 Ive watched not once does he come off like a prick. The guy seems like a stand up gamer who likes other gamers. Go figure, a gamer without an ego or attitude or epeen issue.

I know kinda stupid huh. Like because they play EVE they are less of a geek. Or would that be more of a geek? Or maybe a better analogy would be of two tards arguing over who is stupider. Personally I think that fits better.
