Hi All,
Okay, I've finally gotten back into EVE the other day, I've had this account up for about 2 years now played 3 months at start, stopped for 8-9 months and did it again. Now I'm back, still in my 0.0 sec corp that I only just got into before I quit and I'm looking for advice on what 0.0 is like and what I should be doing.
I've been given a Drake which I can fly with T2 Invulns but nothing flashier than that, I've tested it out on some -0.4 rats and it seems pretty good so far but hey I wouldn't know what good is yet.
Basically as a newbie what should I be doing/what tasks should I be asking for?
Also have a mining alt that I've played for about the same length, is it worth me bringing him in before I can fly a BC or should I just keep hammering at getting a hulk?
Thanks in advance for any tips. Kais. - Kais |

Hi there, I've been at this game years and still feel like a noob myself so don't panic. However, as you're in 0.0 and in a 0.0 corp then the best people to ask about what you need to do in the corp is the corp itself. I don't think anyone here can accurately describe what your corp does or needs.
That said, my experience of 0.0 corp life was basically ratting with corp, mining with the corp and defending our territory. Along with fleet roams to kick the crap out of any neuts we could find. All good fun I hasten to add.
But if you are not talking to your corp and trying to do stuff on your own in 0.0 then you are most likely to be the one who gets the crap kicked out of ya
I'd talk to your corp mates and find out what they need. |

Haha, thanks I think I really just need to get my bearings firstly. I'm not to experienced with corps, all I've done prior to this is basically mining work/rat protection for subsidiary corps in high/low sec so I wasn't sure what the usual corpmate does. At work at the moment but when I get back home I'll have a chat to everyone and hopefully sink my teeth into some ratting or gang raping some poor scout/spy.
Cheers for the advice anyway.
Anymore seasoned people please add your thoughts/experience, I'm keen to soak up as much knowledge as I can.
Really want to get serious about this :D |

I think TNT is in with the Clusterf*ck gang so beating DRF and friends is what you do in null. As well as trying to defend your home turf and whatnot. And talk to you corpmates and alliance ofc before making yourself unpopular.

I've been playing since 2007, on and off.
I sport 60 mil SP... but I have virtually NO SOLO PVP experience. Nor do I know how to make money.
