a couple hours before this was posted my corpmate was saying how the nighthawk was practiclly a tech 2 drake with a not as good slot layout, and that got me thinking."why isnt there a tech 2 cersion of all teir 2 battle cruisers?" when i presented this to my corpie he said that until someone came up with a unique, usefull and unfulfilled role ccp would never make tech 2 variants of teir 2 BC, as i was trying to think of a role i flew through a null-sec system in my shuttle and was pulled out of warp by a bubble and was attacked by the gang waiting there, as i was killed it hit me. There is no anti-bubble platform, it would also be a unique role, a usefull role, and a unfulfilled role. so i suggest that tech 2 variants of teir 2 battle cruisers be anti-bubble platforms. they would have less high slots, less dps, a heavier tank, and a module that strengthened the warp strength of all the ships in the pilots fleet that are also in system, thus allowing them to be immune to bubbles and warp jammers. now, to prevent bubble campers from being completely defeated by this new ship class i propose that these ships be VERY expensive and require a very large amount of skill training. i also suggest that the module, when activated, have a very visable effect so that in fleet warfare they can easily be identified and destroyed. i also suggest that there be repurcussions on the ship that activates the module, such as greatly increased signature radius and reduced velocity. for example, if the module where activated it would double signature radius and half velocity, and since it should be very expensive it would not be commonly deployed. and the high slots on this ship should of course be slashed just to make sure it doesnt become overpowered or over usefull. and of course this module should take up a high slot. i also humbly suggest the tech 2 drake be black with pulsing red lights because that would look really cool. any comments, criticisms, ideas or rantings would be apreciated so dont be afraid to say anything.
also, i tried posting this earlier but something went wrong so if two almost identical copies of this appear, i would prefer this one to be kept.

Yeah. Pretty much like Troll Jr. said. T3 if you want your anti bubble. I'm sure you'll get your amazing boner 'Black Drake' once CCP decides to work harder on getting out the overpriced NeX shippies.

... And then i was like 'Oh godddd, i just been hit by a flying WALL! Of text!'
Srsly though, adding in new/interesting ideas is not the best way to go about creating a variation of a ship. I think the best idea i have seen for T2 Tier 2 BCs are dedicated exploration ships, with bonuses to cov ops cloak, hacking and analyser modules, agility, and possibly tank too. Lots of highs and a couple of utility mids, basically a ship that could run many different sigs

Lets talk about T2 BCs:
Not yet. Until CCP hopefully removes the tier system they cant go introducing new ships and creating even more balancing issues.
A Tier 2 T2 BC would be too powerful.
Lets get rid of the tier system. Rebalance for like 2 years and then start adding new ships.

+1, but you do owe me a new keyboard
3 of those might actually be flown the brickbird as an ecm boat tho it needs 1 high for a cyno gen, as you will need a fleet or 5 to combat all the titans they drop to kill you in under 23hrs
the amarr as anti supercap, once they nerf the carrier/super carrier fighter bays to fighters only
and the winmatarpwnmobile for everything else

having T3 with the ability of ignoring basic game mechanics (bubble nullifier) is bad enough, not need for another overpowered ship class.

Why so stubborn?
ROF bonus in EVE is a multiplier defined as (1-X). So in this case it multiplies rof by 0.
