ok so now with the op... sensor damps are pretty bad...
history: back in the day you could use one multi spec and keep someone perma jammed... which was awesome... they nerfed this and then all of a sudden sensor damps were kick ass... then they came out with the nerf bat again and killed sensor damps...
so whatÆs the fix? simple look at the eos... it gets ewar bonus... but why? well if we boosted sensor damps by not only reducing lock range/time but also making it so it actually reduces sensor strength... you could have a 3rd script that just reduces sensor strength of target ship...
imo this would make ships like that arazu awesome again for solo work...
in old day when sensor damps were good people would fit 3 of them and could keep pretty much 3 ships from locking before they were dead...
but i would like to see is an arazu with 2 sensor damps with sensor strength scripts in and one multi spec...
basically with the sensor damps you can reduce the targets sensor strength by soo much you can effectively use one mutli spec to keep them from targeting...
plus if they did this it would make the eos bonus actually useful for gallente...

They are broken, so no one uses them, so no need to fix em. Obviously.

well if they fixed sensor damps by making them i dunno actually dampen the sensor strength.
I could see people using them again

I think you should post in the correct forums, and if more people would do, maybe it'd be less of a graveyard. -

This. F&I isn't a graveyard - lots of lively topics going on down there. It is possible people don't discuss an idea because they just don't like the idea. --Vel

no f&i is a graveyard i try to post on it daily and topics i post on 3 days ago are still on the front page...
GD is good for exposure...
though back on topic... every one uses remote rep now a days and one of the main counters to RR is ECM (why most ships fit eccm in the first place) by boosting sensor damps so they reduce the sensor strength and make the ships easier to jam... this would go a long way to help non caldari ewar boats to counter RR...

you mean you should be able to damp enemys sensor down to 5km solo considering that as fix? I see a lot of ships using damps in gangs mostly, or arazu can really well damp the target under the point range.

dev alt detected...
and no peeps dont use them that often... if you see an arazu in gang or lech they are using shield extenders... sensor damps are a sure way to get killed...

we used damps a lot in stealth bomber gangs, where the target was damped under the engagement range...
you wont lock my my covert cyno arazu either when I land and scram/damp you, while my buddies coming through the cyno.

yeah, this shows well how damps arent working, you need a falcon to counter them. btw, i'm sure you will have fun jamming a razu with 50% jamming chance per racial jammer.

Yrs falcon is counter to everything but arazu is only good for is point range bonus... Give damps a bonus to also reduce sensor strength and people will use them again... Imo auto targeters and hull reppers are used more then sensor damp
