If you are having troubles figuiring out what is suitable for different complexes I will gladly spend a massive amount of time coming up with re-constructs of all your nullsec complexes. In particular your habit for making guristas too easy and blood too hard. Why should I be able to solo a gurista 8/10 in an ishtar without breaking a sweat even in the last room which is occupied by a bunch of destroyers, cruisers, and bs's which are 80km and don't aggro, when in a blood 8/10 I almost die every room for going to close to neut ships....and then in the last room die before I can lock anything by being webbed down by 5 batteries and the nigh-on-impossible-to-solo-kill station (which shoots purgatory cit torps), along with being scrammed and webbed by about 8 frigates....oh and 0 cap neuted by about 20 cruisers and 20 more bs's (the best part is its all about ~20km from your warp-in and all of it insta-aggro's. Compare the two? Sense? None? I offer my services for free!!!!

*points to the Gurista 10/10*
Webbing station that fires EM citadel torps with 180000 raw damage, so that you have to tank EM/Kinetic?
Let's compare that to the Serpentis 10/10 that shoots a Thermal cit torp, that deals 7200 raw damage. Completely solo-tankable by a single ishtar.
Why is this fair?????
(also Serpentis loot is mostly crap)

The problem here is that you hold the false belief that eve is fair or it should be.
moving on..

Dear CCP,
Please remake the game so that is perfect for me. I am willing to spend all the time that is required for it to be just the way I like it. I know there are others here too, but my needs are the most important. While your at it don't you think your company should be named: MeCP?

I've always liked it that in BR space it is difficult to solo plexes. Less competition than in Gurista space where everyone can solo the plexes in ishtars or tengus.

I don't think the OP is necessarily whining that BR is hard, he seems to be whining about how they are unbalanced - and this seems to be a pretty accurate view. You could make guristas harder or angels easier, but which one you choose isn't the point. What does matter is that they aren't balanced.

Complexes are not balanced at all between factions, this is not anything new. The Guristas 10/10 is probably the hardest 10/10, whereas the 6 and 8 are stupidly easy. Serpentis 10/10 can be soloed in a Drake, and has better loot than the Guristas (mainly in the price of vindicators vs. rattlesnakes).
So what? I for one, don't want them all the be the same. Bring the right ship for the job. (Hint: it might be a passive recharge Rattlesnake).

Edited by: Anne Alingus on 03/08/2011 11:11:50 The passive Rattlesnake was the suggestion for the complex the OP is whining about, which it handles with aplomb. Its sig radius is far too high to handle the EM torp in The Maze even if you manage to get the resists up.
For The Maze you need a ship with less than 200 sig radius, at least 5500-6000 buffer HP, EM/THERM/KIN resists in the 90% range and reps (I prefer self reps) of 130-150 hp/s to be comfortable. There are several ships that can achieve these stats. I use a Tengu.
