I've wanted to try out the passive Sacrilege fit, the highest rated fit in battleclinic, instead of the dual rep. Supposedly it has around 60.000 EHP as is stated in the thread: http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/6136-Sacrilege-Passive-Sac.html
When I try the fit in EFT it's around 54.000 EHP with level 5 skills and 53.000 with my skills. When fitting it in EVE it has only around 39.000 EHP, with damage control inactive around 31.000. Seems like a big difference. The battleclinic fit has missile rigs, NOT trimarks by the way. Maybe my EFT is calculating it wrong and the guy in the thread too? It's version 2.13.1.
Any thoughts?

EFT calculates by omni damage (i.e. 25% of all 4 damage types), EVE counts by lowest resist. So it's pretending that you're getting shot by EM until you reach armor, then it's pretending that you're being hit by explosive.
...Or whatever your lowest resist is. I think Amarr T2 has good explosive resists, but I'm too lazy to check. --------------------

Okay, that makes sense, thanks. Yeah, Amarr has good explosive resists :-)
Is there a way to change EFT from omni damage to low resist damage for EHP?

Also, are you accounting for Slaves? Battleclinic posters might be.
"Treason" is nothing more than an offense invented by winners as an excuse for hanging losers.

No, nor should you. EVE's EHP calculation is naive and simplistic. There's no circumstance in which someone is going to be changing damage types after they penetrate your shields.
Set a realistic damage profile and use that as your guideline. If you think enemies will adapt to your weaknesses, adapt the profile.

Eft is more useful imo, but comparing eve fitting screen with eft omni resist profile might tell you that you need to plug some resist hole.
Or just make your own damage profiles for eft and check your fit before using it /i suggest this option/.

Well, since the Sac is a armor tanked boat there's a big different in shield resists, 12,5% lowest to 89,1% highest, so that might be the reason for the difference in EHP between EVE and EFT. The posted fit already fills the thermal armor resist hole.
Thanks for the replies!
