Basically can you disable/reduce enemy drones if you neut them? How about webbing them?
Thanks.

Unsure about the neuts, but I don't think so.
I think webbing them works though. <3 |

I thought you could neut drones, otherwise why would drones sometimes be "Incapacitated"
Unless its just another random unexplainable reason why drones suck?

I'm reasonably sure that drones have infinite capacitor, they can permarun their MWDs, and I'm positive that you can't shut them off with neuts. So, no.

I'm pretty sure drones, like other NPCs, basically have limitless Cap.
So neuting them does nothing.
Except drones have such a small Cap to begin with, Nos does nothing also.
Yes, you can web them. And yes other forms of EW (like TD) works.
But the best way to deal with drones, is to shoot them. Turns out, they're deathly allergic to ammo. - Explosions!

You can't cap out drones or npc's. You can NOS NPC's some but not very effectively. Never tried nosing a drone but I suspect you wouldn't get a useful amount of cap even if it did work. Webbing drones works great however. It works exactly the same as webbing a ship. Generally attacking drones isn't the best move, but the need does come up from time to time.

I believe you can cap out ecm drones, as they no longer jam when a neut is set on them.
its a bit difficult to prove, as its chance based but when they have no cap they go from red boxing you to only yellow box.

Back in the day some drones had cap and all, but it was abused by pilots nossing their own drones for cap.
Right now you can neut drones, but drones just get cap back when they need it basically, so it has no effect (other than lowering your own cap).
-Webbing, tracking disrupting and target painting works on drones as normal. -sensor damping of drones really has no effect. -jamming of drones works, but they can re-lock right after so it really has no effect. -neut/nos/energy transfer has no effect. -remote rep obviously does
Drones are incapacitated if they are too damaged to be used, probably has to do with hp bonuses by skills/ship which won't work unless you are controlling them with said pilot/ship.

I'm pretty sure drones have 1 cap and impressive recharge rate :-) Trying to neut or nos drones is technically a possibility but will not gain you anything as the cap will be full again instantly. -
I'm a nice guy!! But plz hook me up with some pew pew... |
