So the number one change voted on by current players is an adjustment that really only applies to those who play docking games.
I generally do not sit there and camp stations so this mechanic really doesnĘt effect me.
But I guess those who said much of eve pvp has degenerated to blobs station camping, had a point.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?

The best part is this..
"Reduce the size of stations docking range to more accurately reflect station model."
Do they not realize that that will just encourage station humping.. or is that just the whole point?
Station games will just end up with 5 or 6 Arti BS's sitting there ready to alpha pop anything that undocks and gets kicked out.
Sure deal with the stupid RR aggro crap, but the only reason to even want a station to kick out is because people want to camp it.

I agree few people voted but if the number of people who voted is statistically significant this is bad news ...
Is there any reason to think that station campers are more likely to vote than other players?
If not then, this seems to indicate that 1)the number of people who station camp is on the rise or 2)the number of people who do things other than station camp is on the decline, or 3)both. -Cearain

The docking games mechanic was significantly upvoted by a voting block of players form Ivy League. They are actually responsible for a number of high-ranked items in the list. Without the Ivy votes, the results aren't quite as embarrassing.
This is according to the guy who ran the crowd sourcing. Tallied results shown with and without the Ivy voting block can be found here: failheap-trebor - sig |

Because they troll the forums looking for tears and other ways to make other players "mad".
Until CCP puts issues up for vote at the login-screen (which has it's own problems), the voting will be controlled by the people who use the forum.
I know a number of people in game, and very few of them have anything positive to say about the forums, and hardly any of them log in here at all.

Which is more than post on this forum.
So, if this statistically insignificant portion of the player base feel they are speaking for all of EVE, why can't we make the same assumption for the larger (but still insignificant) number of people who voted in the CSM thing?

Ok this is actually quite reassuring. A bunch of new players did what they were told and voted like lemmings.
It seems improving medals was also a top priority for ivy league. -Cearain
