I wanted to know about target jamming on pirate faction ships (ie..target player is flying Dramiel or Machariel for example). Can you use racial at all? Or because the ships require training in two races, you always need to jam with Multis? Just curious. I couldn't find info on it.

Just Show Info on the ship, it'll tell you the sensor type.

nah. One ship is one ship, therefore one sensor type. Well, duh. Good question, tho.
You can use the background colour of the ship's "icon" to know what sensor type it's got.
Red: Minmatar (Ladar) Gold: Amarr (Radar) Blue: Caldari (Gravimetric) Green: Gallente (Magnetometric)
I'm pretty sure this works out 100% of the times.

The ONLY ship that i am aware of that violates this is the daredevil. It has the matar background (red) but has magnetometric (green) sensors. -------------------------------------------------

Beaten you to it . There is only 3 ships in the game with mismatched background and sensor type. The 3rd is irrelevant to our point. Not really a mismatch either:
Daredevil: Minmatar background (red) Magnetometric sensor (green)
Orca: Caldari background (blue) Magnetometric sensor (green)
Revenant: Unique background. Radar sensor (gold)

My supercap jamming backbone!
At least the daredevil is a frigate so you can just kinda get jams on it anyway.

Best way to jam things is to right click your ship and select the self destruct option. Works every time, I'm sure.
