Apologies if this has been asked before, internet is playing up and couldn't find anything. I've recently spent a lot of time on the MD forum and have been slowly been increasing my investment portfolio (I've invested about 1 Billion ISK in the last week). I mostly keep my records in a notepad, which isn't always convenient and i would like to share my portfolio details with friends more easily. Are there any free spreadsheets or software i could get that would help me manage it all? Thanks in advance folks.

Google Documents is a free and easy to use system for Spreadsheets, presentations, etc. Also lets you share with either individuals, no one, or with everyone who has a link.

Of these two I would recommend Google Docs because you can pull XMI data much easier than with OOCalc. -------------------------------------------

My apologies, i must have not made myself fully clear, what i mean is are there any such spreadsheets that allow me to manage my investments (IE, ones that people have already made). Thanks

If you are a competant Linux adminstrator I have a MySql/Java/Tomcat web application, with pre-formatted csv tables for download into your favourite spreadsheet, and including CCP imagedump. It is based on API keys and currently has the following features:
Paginated list of recent transactions Item group view, with-drill down to individual item historical transaction lists. Each group and item view contains a colour-coded financial display of the the following figures, just like you see on real trading floors
- Spot price bid/ask/spread
Previous closing price price change volume traded bid/ask today/previous day price volatility cashflow debit/credit PnL day/mtd, Value at risk (VaR)
Pre-formatted tables, built each day from an End-Of-Day crontab entry, include:
EOD (End of day per item) average bid/ask, hi/lo, volume, price movement %, pnl -- End of day prices compatible with many types of financial analysis and graphing software
DayAvg -- Average prices of each item for each day, including 5, 30, and 90 day moving averages.
Mineral Analytics -- More in depth financial anylsis of this important trading line
I could adapt this to your requirements, and provide a WAR file and cron scripts under licence given the right incentive. If you would be interested in using the application without having to manage it, I could possibly provide you with a running instance so long as you accept the risks of API key sharing.
