To avoid Battleship neuting the best way is to warp in at distance (100km+) the frigs will burn towards you as will the cruisers, you will still get webbed and neuted by the smaller ships but should have cap left for tanking I can't remember exactly the range of BS neuts but was something like 70km -/+
When a trigger is say a webbing/neuting cruiser it will only be the last of the group that triggers the next spawn so kill all but one of those.
Not had massive amount of experience but lived in a class 3 for just over a month and got the basics down, I would kill scramming frigs >> cruisers >> battleships unless of course smaller ships triggered then killed all but one.
Using tech II launchers will help a lot as gives you access to tech II ammo - precision for taking down the frigs in a couple volleys and furies to take down everything else quicker. I can't claim to have come up with this setup but it worked extremely well - so well that i got lazy and lost it ( it tanked so well I didn't bother warping at distance and the one and only time I did this got ganked )

I've been running active tengu's for a while, but never really tried passive fits, so I can't honestly vouch for a good passive fit, but that's something I would look for if you're having cap issues with neuting. If you're in a group, I've heard nothing but possitive words about tengu's fitted to spider tank each other.

Is something I would like to try , having done 3 tengu's in a level 4 mission I can only say " overkill " pretty sure the setup I use would tank class 3 and possibly class 4 anoms and the best part is its all tech 2 setup.

Firstly a medium booster aint gonna cut it.
This however will..
This is my personal skills so its not as high as it will go for specification, also it has no crystal set. This owns Class 3s with absolute ease.

Medium booster is more then sufficient for C3 sites. In fact, it is more efficient because you can fit an extra launcher for more dps.

As you can see from the setup i posted I invested isk into my setup, it was able to solo the class 3 radars fine. I wouldn't suggest something if I had no experience of it, true a tech II med booster wouldn't cut it, a faction large would work just as well as a deadspace med too.
