If you are buying researched BPOs, why is it going to take 3 and a half months before the first dividend is paid out?
Originally by: Investment Specialist Before you ask if I did any research, yes, Orca sales are beginning to level out, indicating a price drop in the near future, or until the next hulkageddon, but in a year's time they have almost doubled in price.
First, Orca prices have not 'almost doubled'. Orca prices went up about 35% in the last year. You said you did research on Orca sales. A few questions: 1. Do you know the reason why Orca prices have increased in the last year? 2. How does Hulkageddon increase profit margins for Orca production? 3. What happens if profits from Orca production are not high enough to cover the interest payment?
In your previous thread you stated, 'My main corp can easily mine enough in a month to produce about 10 to 12 orcas' That would be equal to 3 to 4 billion ISK per month. In the time frame it takes to make your first dividend payment, your corp could have mined enough minerals to fund this project themselves. Why not do that instead?

11 billion needed for Orca production, 550 shares available at 20 million each. This will buy researched BPO's of the components and a standard Orca BPO, offering dividends of 10% per month starting December 1st 2011, continuing for the life of the program.
Program will end in two years, at which time bpo's will be sold and shares will be repurchased at 20mil.
Reinvestment shares available after February to go towards future cap construction projects.
you still havent looked at addressing the security issues from your first thread you have no mention on how the BPOs will be secured ie will you get them secured 3rd party ?
the other issue is the return your going to be paying 1.1 billion a month in interest orca production with component production with the BPOs you will own is only going to be worth 2 billion ish a month so your going to be giving away most of your profit in interest each other so the chance of you getting bored and doing a runner is high in my opinion
and lastly your already talking about expanding your operation in your first post your saying an expansion could happen little over a month after you've paided your first interest payment.
all concerns and red flags to me
Still not securing third party, I trust them about as much as you trust me.
I can easily build 3 orcas a month so there is my profit.

35% was plain math failure on my part, I was in the middle of a few things.
I would guess a few reasons, more players can fly them, more players lost them, the use of them as mobile bases in wh and nullsec lead to more loses, alliance wars cause production to slow and price to rise.
Hulkageddon has a habit venturing off into other kills. Mining battleships, mining battlecruisers, haulers, orcas and other people that just happen to be in the belt.
I was sticking to what would be manageable and steady, while yes we can produce more then the 2 - 3 needed for returns I was trying to counter for the unknown, market crash, corp crash, changes in whatever. 3 orca I know I personally can handle every month, so if my corp falls apart as badly as these threads I could still cover my investors.

I think it's better to stay away from this investment. OP seems a bit hard headed and changes his mind and numbers as easily as I change my shirts.

I can easily build 3 orcas a month so there is my profit.
An orca only produces 70 mil profit for each one sold based on jita prices for ore and orca sell price. So 210 mil profit a month when giving away 1.1 billion in profit to investers doesnÆt sound so great now does it.
Also if your not securing 3rd party you are never going to get any investment the reason these industrial offerings are often viewed in a good light and often so well receive is because invest risk can be kept to a minimum through securing most of there money with trusted 3rd parties.
For production you donÆt need to have the BPOÆs just access to them so why not secure if your not going to scam?
I know about orca production I produce orcaÆs myself so I only know youÆll be bottle necked to be producing 6 orcaÆs a month at most from then BPOs youÆll be building so thatÆs only 410 mil a month profit from your orca production most of your profit will come from simply producing and selling the capital components because most of those lines would be idle other wise.
But IÆm not sure you understand this you seem to be assuming your going to make all your money simply selling orcaÆs

Another failed plan, congratulations MD. Your trolling has been fun, your nitpicking at issues has been insanely annoying, your lack of PRODUCTIVE feedback has been inspiring.
I had a plan, but instead of working with the plan you just pulled it apart.
A few closing comments, why should i trust anyone with your isk, or rather the items bought with you isk, when you are trusting me with it?
Not giving out corp and main's name due to the fact that we haven't been the nicest of people for the course of our eve careers, I still have a bounty of over 300 mil on me. No name is better than a bad name.
No I wasn't using the profit margins per ship sale vs ore sale because it's a game, I was only interested in the ship sales, the mining just takes time, and I would have spent that time mining anyway, so my time has little real value.
Goodbye MD and remember, the next time your ship blows up, it was probably me.

you've not been trolled at all people have asked you very valid questions on how you where going to spend the money and run the business to make the profits you where intending instead of coming back to us with answer you dodged questions.
you also seem to have a huge lack on knowledge in capital ship production and dont seem to know what profit you'd be making and wear it would be coming from. so dont blame the people of me for your failer here. your lack of preperation or any knowledge of the area you where looking for investment for have shot you down here nothing else.
