Does anyone know any sites that show hourly pricing graphs?
Looking for certain trends throughout the day or an easier way to watch one product closely for daytrading. Been doing it myself but it would be much easier for a site to do it for when I am not online. -------------------------------------------

Go learn some Python, Javascript and Relational Databases. Then figure out various API's like Reverence and the IGB java script API
That is pretty much all you need to gather market data (semi) automatically.
You'll probably still want to ask a GM about just how much automation you can get away with.

If you make sure to keep uploading the items all day (aka, leave the client running). I'd be happy to provide you with hourly price graphs (better even, price graphs per half hour or quarter should be possible if you're only uploading specific items).
I'ma gonna see whether I can provide a sample one for tritanium, as it makes sense that that one would be uploaded often (been registering price points per upload for a while now). --- "A fool flatters himself, a wise man flatters the fool."

Yes, looks like I have a new project. Even EVE-Central is pretty out of date and looks horrible. Maybe I can do better, though it will be slow. Need a more in-depth and user-friendly marketplace site, imo.

Sure, I'd love to see what you have in mind. I currently have a spreadsheet that will make the graphs from manual input.
I also have another that pulls in the current prices from eve-central but I am not sure if I can make one pull from the other and timestamp it. That, I assume, would be best done by an online database and website. -------------------------------------------

As a very limited example, this was the only one I could find with some data points in the last two days: http://www.evemarketeer.com/graph/tiny_history/10000043/20413/2
And it looks ugly (besides the obvious erratic behaviour of these orders :P), but I'm working on that :) --- "A fool flatters himself, a wise man flatters the fool."

Hmm, you are right, it does look ugly :P Data point balls meh. That is the idea, though!
The only problem with that is the intervals are too large and too close together. I assume with smaller intervals it would look better. I like the black though I think lines should be green and red for buy and sell. I am thinking that two graphs would be best, one for the max buy and min sell at that datapoint and one for the median buy and sell at that datapoint. Possibly another to track quantity though I haven't considered that very well. -------------------------------------------
