I love the first novel (EVE - The Empyrean Age)! Got so much going on- on the same time and even crosses - genius! love it. often call it the "eve bibel"
But than....... the burning life? srly!? (on silvester i make it "the burning book!" i swear. i blow it up and upload the pieces on youtube!) its half that big (-50% pages per autor level), just got 2 storys (-50% story on those pages per autor level), both boring as hell (+100% more boring, on that half story of those 50% pages), less details about the eve universe and so on...
i could barely finish it and it sucked... i knew from the first page how it ended. word by word. thats pathetic and made me sad...
I picked up a few rumors there comes a 3rd novel again from the 1st writers and... i just hope so and keep dreaming about it
so what u think about them? i keep saying "never change a runing writer" ;)

Empyrean Age actually had something to do with the storyline. It tells all the details of what happened during the few hours the Empires went to war again.
Burning Life was more like an extremely boring tour of the EVE universe. Just read chronicles or hell, play the game if you want that.

The story can be summarized in: good pirates, corrupt empires, evil capsuleers and the ending was dissappointing.

Burning Life did not have an ending. The tour just ran out of locales to visit. and further more why do i even need a sig? |

ageeed, Burning Life was boring as hell. That coming from an Eve fanboy is quite sad.. Loved the first book however, and I would hope to get my hands on a 3rd Eve novel one day!

The Empyrean Age book was terrible. Extremely contrived and cliched to the point of cringing. I only finished it because I'm addicted to EVE.
Perhaps CCP can contract better writers for the future novels. Maybe Sony can force them to spend some funds on quality. Fat chance though. ... Return the Old Hangar Back... for Immersion.

Empyrean age was incredibly cliched. It was certainly not much for gray areas. Every bad guy was fat, ruthless, and a pedo --------------------------------------- www.eve-pirate.com original author |

The Empyrean Age wasn't really a novel. Story-telling and explanation seemed to take second place to setting out the background to the expansion.
