I noticed all of the latest devblogs, while exciting, seem to be very vague. Many words are written, but no point is really made.
What I would like to see is a cut and dry outline of what they are actually going to do.
For example: "-Ship XXX will have stat XXX reduced from XXX to XXX."
Is such a simple format so hard to do? I'd rather CCP give us a fact data sheet with numbers and then later on decide to deviate, than instead for them to give us vague answers and in the end do something different or nothing at all.
I believe most people would agree with me on this. They'd rather see big bold letters stating "Skill XXX will be changed to this stat...." and so forth, rather than seeing "Well, here's sort of what we want to do, but we're not really sure yet. we have no details on any of the numbers for it. but anyway, here's a bunch of fluffy words for now."

In order for that to happen, CCP would have to have a clue about what they are doing.

If they release rebalance stats before the actual expansion, how are they meant to do insider trading on their EVE characters?

If you're not doing those kinds of changes, and if the devblog is about design rather than implementation, then yes. In fact, one might even say that it's impossible and/or counter-productive. ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡ you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki

"Is such a simple format so hard to do? I'd rather CCP give us a fact data sheet with numbers and then later on decide to deviate"
So, what you're saying is they should give you some facts and numbers, and later throw them out the window when they decide it's not the change they want to make?
I am taking it you have never worked in a business, as this is still at a conceptual stage~ Ideas are still actually being written on whiteboards. You're lucky you're actually seeing any of this at all, most game developers don't start revealing changes and ideas until the implementation stage, however CCP want to measure response and feedback sooner rather than later.
If the devblogs are that upsetting, don't read them.

That's a problem with a lot of the people I see on these forums (or rather, have seen the past 2 months), they're very, very sensitive. Fly safe, Die hard |

You took what I said out of context (thus making it sound completely different), here is the full sentence: "I'd rather CCP give us a fact data sheet with numbers and then later on decide to deviate, than instead for them to give us vague answers and in the end do something different or nothing at all."
The point I'm driving here is CCP needs to be more clear and concise on what they want to do. As it stands, all recent devblogs pertaining to nullsec at this point only draw upon issues, and make no effort to offer any solutions. As an example: CCP is basically like: "Hey, we know supercapitals en masse are an issue." end statement. When they should be like: "Hey, we know supercaps are an issue, here is the solution we currently have in mind ____________________________"
So my whole point was, I'd rather see what ideas they currently have for fixing the problems rather than hear nothing at all and waste time reading about stuff I already know about. But meh, maybe this is just CCP's way of showing us that some of them still play this game.
Oh and, Meryl SinGarda, you have the sexiest and most lucratively seductive female avatar I've ever laid eyes upon. Nicely done.

I believe you are looking for the patch notes, not the dev blogs. ---

No, not at all. What I'm looking for is a way of preventing patch notes from being surprise buttseks. Which is then followed by a community outrage and so forth (like usual).
